Talking about open borders, decriminalizing the borders and free health care would certainly encourage them to come. Biden and Democrats did just that.

Also they attacked Trump on everything he did so that sent a signal that the Democrats are against securing our border and deporting illegals aka dreamers.

LOL at all you people that think telling or begging migrants to not come to our border will actually deter them after all of the encouragement the Democrats gave them to come.

 

We need jobs for Americans first.

 

I think they should build refugee facilities on the border that act as a compound slash wall. It would be near open on the Mexico side but closed on the American side so that they can choose to go back to Mexico anytime. Kill two birds with one stone. It's also gotta be cheaper than hotels.

They could stay there protected while we evaluate their status and eligibility as a refugee. Also we need more courts and judges to process them faster.

 

Was Biden as tough before he was elected? Did he say the immigrants would not be allowed in to the US? Or did he constantly criticize Trump for keeping them in Mexico?

 

Show us where Trump asked illegal criminals to come into America?

Biden's words and actions encouraged these people to come and he changed his tune after we had a crisis. Why would these people stop coming when he is putting them in hotels?

Perhaps he should have seen it coming. That's a tough call.

Perhaps a transition of power that was accommodative could have given a heads up. But I doubt that.

We don't have room in America for tens of millions of illegals coming from Mexico. 30-40 million already live here.

Biden needs to grow some balls and deport these people.

If we don't enforce our laws on the employers, how do you expect to enforce them on those coming to make a better life?

All Biden did was slam Trump for his policies all the while he never had a plan of his own. It's the old get elected first then figure it out. How's that strategy working for him?

By constantly criticizing Trump's handling of the migrants was a clear message he would do things in a friendlier way. How did migrants perceive this? I guess we're seeing the results now. If you're against keeping migrants in Mexico then you must be for letting them in. If I was a migrant that's the way I would take it. And if you were honest you'd think the same thing. We're talking about some very desperate people who want to hear there's hope for them in getting in to the US.

 

And how much did that waste of the government's taxes? More Democrats that are worthless and ruining this great nation!

 

Biden should not have even suggested Amnesty. They also are creating a ton of incentive with social welfare programs.

I am for deporting illegals without a court hearing but the courts ruled against it. Even Trump didn’t violate the courts orders once it was given. The only solution is to process them faster and get them through the courts faster in order to get them back to Mexico or Central America. The only way to quicken the process is with more judges.

 

It tells anyone who can observe the obvious without willful blindness.

 

If Biden keeps chasing jobs to Mexico, they wont need to come here looking for work, we will go there!

 

It's a minor exaggeration of the actions and statements the democrats make and have made. It amounts to the same thing though.

Yes, with a normal transition this may have been mitigated. Apparently, HHS wasn't ready with enough shelters. Becerra was confirmed just last Thursday. We should learn what happens in a vacuum of power, but I doubt that.

Let's see what they do. It's going to take a few weeks to get things up and running.
