These illegals need to go back to the only country they've ever known and be united with their families. While they're there, they can boost Mexico's economy, lower their crime rate and fill that country full of diversity. Is there a leftist talking point I missed?

 

It really should be though. From a financial standpoint alone, freeing up the wasted hundreds of billions that illegal immigration costs our economy and our government every year would nearly fund everything on the wish list. Think about it, several hundreds of billions each year in freed up monies. The portions government spends alone could nearly heavily subsidize college tuition and healthcare, we could be pouring billions into green energy, we could be cleaning up oceans, we could be taking a real responsibility for our homeless - that money could do a lot of real good for Americans. Money is the solution to everything everyone wants and we're torching cash by the pallet load to deal with this illegal inundation.

Plus, all of that says nothing of the immense intrinsic value of stopping this disastrous plague in that we will prevent mass amounts of murder, rape, exploitation of children, brutal gang violence, and drugs both in the US and south of our borders. The American illegal immigration system is single most prolific human rights violator in the modern world. We are the enablers and the financial backers of these atrocities and whenever someone points that out they're either ignored or branded a racist. History will judge us, God will judge us, and when we fall (note: when not if) it will be a well earned fate.

So nevermind that we are bringing in tens, if not hundreds of thousands of unchecked illegals, while some of our tax paying citizens and children are still under covid restrictions, we bring in illegals and pay for them to stay in hotels and they just keep pouring in. You're ok with this? And wasn't it you to have nerve to show some concern over child poverty in America?

I'm most shocked at the democrats, such as this one, who are supporting the flood of illegals into our country, especially during a pandemic, only because of who our president is. No one with any common sense should be supporting this.

 

I can get over how BIG the little children at the border are!!! Some of those 13 year olds are topping 200-250 and a many have beards...

Their is a humanitarian crises at our southern border. Young children are arriving at the border alone. I’m not for open borders, not even a little bit, but we also are a Christian nation and turning away in unattended children isnt right. I’m not sure what the answer to the problem is, but we have to figure it out soon

 

Nobody is arguing against helping unattended children. The problem is the left shows no signs of taking measures that will prevent people from coming in the first place. If people who show up are sent back and not allowed to stay, they'll stop showing up eventually. This isn't the message the left is sending.

 

Why not spend 86 million on homeless people in America and put them in hotels?

 

Because they get to play god, without getting their hands dirty.

They can tell themselves something is being done about the brown peasants, while they themselves continue on with their luxe First World lifestyles, in neighbourhoods where the realities never touch them.
