Biden's time to shine

Where the hell does "discourage" mean "stop from happening"?

Actually, never mind. You have obviously decided to completely lose touch with reality!

 

Yup. And the next one, "to prevent".... Clearly that didn't happen. Did it. Sanctions are punishments for the threat not being adhered to. If Biden had simply applied sanctions after the invasion, it would be clear that all Biden intended then to do was to punish. Once he preannounced those though, he was trying to prevent. And the assumption behind that was Biden thought it would stop the invasion because who would challenge ol joe these days. He did, famously also tell folks in his campaign how successful he had been "going toe to toe" with Putin. So let's not also forget the context of Joe and this relationship. He promised he could keep Putin in check. He didn't tell us he's sit back and watch. He said he would defeat him. (by implication). Clearly that failed. So Biden fails us, the people of Ukraine, and now the people of Russia who will now be most directly punished by his policy. We suffer, Europe suffers, Ukraine suffers, and you're clapping. Where's that cake you're munching on....

 

What does an ounce of prevention do? You can be as obtuse as you want to be, but you're just digging in the same muck you already rolled in earlier. Have fun rolling around. It is fun to watch.
