It’s amazing the liberal paradise of LA tends to go up in flames from riots often. What gives?

Memphis is one of my favorite cities. North Memphis is awful and very crime filled but the rest of the city is great.

Don't you think anarchists in general have a problem with land ownership and how its used to hinder freedom (and necessarily increase the power of the state)?

    I agree they do.

That wrapped ideology is beyond logical compression IMO.

He is less pandering than Biden, this less of a Weiner. Biden is a walking “talking point”, not sure how anyone can respect that in a leader.

Cue the “but Trump” replies, which have nothing to do with Biden’s dishonesty and pandering...

Both are losers in my book, they both lie, they both are full of graft and they will cover illegal activities to create the ends to a means...I see both as a pitiful reflection on the American political scene and the fact that these candidate represent corporatism and state capitalism at its finest.

The kicker is their arrogance. They truly believe people who don’t live in California want too...I lived there for 4 years in the military. Beautiful state, whacky society, no way would I live there.

If Biden is a "walking talking point" then it's the most stammering, disconnected gibbering talking point I've ever heard.

Ive often voiced my dislike of Trump on here. But come November it’s him or Biden. I’ll hold my nose and vote Trump.

The left melting down again with a Trump re-election would be just awesome to behold too! Oh man the look on Their faces...the tears and the excuses....the accusations....the doom and gloom predictions...and the name calling...it would be epic to watch.

If we are really lucky Maddows might have her head explode on TV like a tiny volcano :)

It depends on what is important to you. TN ranks 43 in health care,36 in education and 43 on crime and corrections. 37 on environment.

Anarchists do not care about such matters. All anarchists care about is destruction for the sake of destruction itself. There is no thought to their movement, no higher reasoning, no real organization. They are the human equivalent of a forest fire, destroying whatever they can simply because they wanted to destroy it.

Being an anarchist, I can say that without a doubt you have no idea what anarchists care about.

You obviously don't understand anarchism. Then again, nor does the land owner...

Then perhaps it is possible for yourself to explain why they are presently setting fires in neighborhoods that are not their own, and targeting those who are victims of governmental abuses, rather than those who commit the abuses.

They aren't anarchists in a political sense. The are arsonists. An arsonist can be of any political persuasion.

Or do you think that a Democrat or Republican have ever set fire in these riots?

Anarchy mean "without rulers", not "without rules". An anarchist believe the existence of the state is an illegitimate infringement upon the rights of an individual.

Personally, I'm fine with people burning police stations to the ground. However for those that target private property, I would say "deploy the Korean Rooftop Snipers".

Such is essentially how socialism is sold to the masses to make them willing to support the movement. But those who sell the notion always seem to maintain some level of power and authority over the others, and choose to flaunt such by living in excess while those who supported socialism go without and find themselves firmly within the firm grips of communism. The people of the nation of Venezuela can attest to such.

This "progressive" culture within the Political Left is deeply committed to riots.

Progressive data analyst was fired for citing research that riots hurt Democratic vote totals

“…the spread of distinct, illiberal norms throughout some "progressive" institutions”
    .

Young, bright data analyst, David Shor, is a social democrat from the left wing of the party more a Sanders than Biden type. Last month when protests were starting to get more violent, Shor tweeted this:

    (((David Shor)))@davidshor

Post-MLK-assasination race riots reduced Democrat vote share in surrounding counties by 2%, which was enough to tip the 1968 election to Nixon. Non-violent protests *increase* Dem vote, mainly by encouraging warm elite discourse and media coverage. http://www.omarwasow.com/Protests_on_Voting.pdf ….

The research isn’t his. He’s citing Princeton professor Omar Wasow and he’s citing the conclusions of the research accurately. Simply put, this is a data driven argument that riots hurt Democrats at the polls while peaceful protests help them at the polls. That observation didn’t go over well with a lot of people. One of the people who complained accused Shor of “anti-blackness.”

Shor issued an apology for not being an “effective messenger” but couldn’t really apologize for the research since a) it wasn’t his and b) no one had claimed it was wrong. Despite the apology, after a review of the incident Civis Analytics took the side of the mob and fired Shor.

Illiberalism isn’t a bug that crops up coincidentally when the left is ascendant, it’s a feature. Harassing and firing people for "wrong" opinions is what the far left does. We’ve all seen it play out on campus, now we’re seeing it in the broader world.
