Brain washing of kids in school

My nephew and 2 nieces and I have drifted apart mostly due to their brain washed education in hell hole Chicago

Here is what they have learned :
There are many genders
Gays and blacks are still oppressed
The planet will be destroyed in 10-20 yrs by GW
Whites are very racist
Trump is a fascist
And on and on

I don’t like them anymore !!

My other 2 nephews and Niece are in Pho and learn none of this propaganda and we’re closer

 

If you're the kind of person to push the children in your family out of your life just because they've (currently) reached different opinions to you on some of the socio-political issues of the day, especially if you truly believe that is purely down to misinformation they've received, they're probably better off without you.

 

I have noticed a tendency, regardless of political orientation, for people to claim brain washing if the young believe things that they don't.

 

Maybe that's what they tell you on Fox news what kids learn in school.

In reality, what they learn is:
-You should treat people with respect, no matter what their gender identification is
-Racism is part of US history, and still exists
-CO2 is a greenhouse gas, which is produced by burning fossil fuels. High CO2 concentrations lead to a warmer planet.

Maybe you should listen to your nephew and nieces instead of the RW media echo chamber. You may learn something.

This is why parents should home school their children; they would be the ones to instill the values that they want in them as opposed to allowing the public to instill their values in them.

A fun thing to do... when you see a Democrat/neo-communist post a rant about white people, copy it and change "white people" to "jews" and reread. They will sound like or worse then Hitler.

 

School curriculum is set by the local school district.
School Board members who run that district are elected in local elections
Administers are hired by local school boards
Teachers are hired by local school boards

If a neo-communist transformation is taking place, which I doubt, it is taking place because the people in your community support it and are voting for it.

Did you ever think that it might be your thinking that is off. That perhaps you have spent the last 30 years listening to propaganda that has caused your thoughts to think differently than what is normal. That your attitudes and opinions may have been purposely formed by others.

Over the past 30 years people have been telling stories of dad or grandpa getting into right ring radio, and then going off the rails.

One thing that public schools have been doing over past few decades has been to teach the equality of the races and sexes. To accept others, no matter how different. This has been in the spirit of a better society. It is a lot better to interact with different people friendly, rather than as enemies. This requires a pushing out of the bigoted attitudes of our grandparents. This is why the Republican Party is the minority party.

 

OP is right. This also happens on colleges and the brainwashing always benefits the left.
But how can you guys expect liberals to not deny this when most of you still deny global warming?

 

Kids should be taught morals and ethics by their PARENTS and should not rely on schools to impart moral and ethical or religious standards unless they have enrolled them in a religious school.

 

Sounds like you are blaming your relatives for bursting you microbubble of personal opinion and confirmation bias.

Exposing yourself to new ideas and thoughts outside your comfort zone would be beneficial in my opinion.

The education system has been corrupted by neo-communist and the commies before them.

If global warming was real and going to kill everyone, Democrats would be demanding huge tarrifs on China and India till they cleaned up their act. Instead global warming is just a weapon used by neo-communist to attack America and our living standards.

 

Did you ever stop to think, that the reason the more educated one becomes, the less likely one is to believe what you believe, is that the more knowledge one has, the less tenable it becomes to believe what you believe.

 

How did the left wing become powerful enough to control most of the schools and colleges in this country when the don't control the Senate, the Oval office, most state governments and most school boards?

I know y’all like to pretend that the left is authoritarian, but they are not and this can be seen in the approach to global warming, and global pollution in general, through cooperation and agreements. Through voluntary participation and shared technologies.

The going after them with tariffs and bullets is an authoritarian thing to do, as you have demonstrated, how your side thinks.
