These days, Republicans fight for the interests of the American people

Democrats fight for the world's interests in America.

Dems only fight for their oligarchy's interest and nothing else. They are all about power and money.
THE GOP is just slightly better

You are describing churches, not schools. Whatever your hatred of schools, you are doing your cause no good by describing schools in a way that most reasonable people see as not reflective of reality. Throughout school elementary to junior high to high school to college there have always been instances of discussions involving differing opinions. Different ways if seeing things.

I have fond memories of those times when students were split into groups with each group working on the same problem, and then the groups comparing and defending each groups conclusions. Often times one group would find an entirely different approach to a solution as another group, but both end up at the same place.

Except for memorizing numberals, the alphabet and the multiplication table, I don’t think rote memorization was a big part of my education.

I do hope you were exaggerating about not liking them anymore.

As far as being brainwashed by education, can you find a copy of the curriculum and point out how those topics are taught? What are the required outcomes?

Unless things have changed, states usually impose the curriculum standards. Teachers and Admin are hired at the local level, but must meet state requirements. Are there any states that don't have that control over the local districts?

And Christians don’t like Jews because Jews killed Jesus.

The Norse and Danes didn’t like Jesus because they saw him as a weak interloper. That is why when they went viking, they often attacked churches, killed all the priests, looted all the valuables, and destroyed the buildings.

I agree that it is a lie that white people are very racist. As I said, it is racist to say white people are racists.

Racism exists in the US, obviously and is wrong. However the main target of being labeled a racist goes to white people, which is unfair. There are racists in every racial group.

I don't think he's too far from the truth. Education today is driven by data, and unless that data comes from objective standardized testing, it's useless. Teachers are pushed hard to focus on testing and what's most likely to be on the test. Critical thinking skills are not tested.

I’m describing many schools, many churches, many forms of popular media, and many political parties. You are taking a binary approach to this subject without seeing good and bad in various institutions. Maybe that’s how you were taught....

I noticed quite a bit of difference in different courses at the same university. In agricultural sciences the emphasis was on looking to the future, approaching problems from new angles, and avoiding the trap of doing things the same in perpetuity based on tradition.

In courses like American History, it was some facts and dates, but mostly a one sided social engineering narrative.

The fact your study groups always arrived at the same place is very interesting and I think proves my point quite well. That should not be the result of the educational process. With the exception of multiplication tables etc. that you mentioned.

For the record, I love good schools of all kinds. But not schools who turn out graduates with identical thought processes and worldviews.

Yep. It's far left ideology being taught in schools here for sure. It's so astonishingly abhorrent and often just plain ridiculous.

My older kids were thankfully spared, but the youngest two are saturated in ick.

We're very close and I both love and like them.

I make it really clear I am not on board with bs, for example I refuse to reference a single individual as "they" regardless of that child being "in between" gender identities this week.

I try to make my point, about the sheer idiocy humorously, (I make up skits similar to Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?" using the trendy pc lingo of the month, that they find hilarious) . :D

Some things bother them too about the leftist bs at school... They were not big fans of the mandatory Gun Control activities (that were re-labled as walkouts and classes"In support of the Parkland students"). They found those days confusing and stressful.

I talked about the growing Anti-White issue, disguised as "diversity and inclusion" in a thread here a while back :
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...t-sports-shirts.561512/page-2#post-1070967342

I do not belittle them, they are children, young people who are in indoctrination camps called school. If it were possible for me to homeschool I would, but it isn't feasible at this time, (I am looking into different options though).

It makes me sad that the world I grew up in no longer exists and my kids are living an Orwellian nightmare. I do everything I can to ensure that they are exposed to common sense elsewhere. My oldest son is an Army Sergeant, has been for years and they greatly love and respect him, so that helps too...

But at the end of the day, there's no law that says you must like every member of your family op. Maybe you just don't like them regardless of politics.

If you can't find a single thing to enjoy about them and connect with them over, then its likely more a fundamental personality clash, than just a problem with what they're learning at school.

Democrats say that certain races can't be racist because of their race. They are consumed by hatred and have become the very racist they claim to hate.

Most Democrats don't know what their party stands for. Democrat leaders say things like "it's their job to tell white people to shut their mouths" and crowds of Democrats cheer. If you cared about racism, you wouldn't be in a party of race baiters.

I don't know your age or last time you were in school, however, when I was in high school I had liberal teachers who would grade students on their OPINION, not how we presented it, thoughts, resources or anything mattered. Even when I was in college, I had a teacher who disagreed with me on religion, and told me to "drop his class." What you described is how it should be, in some cases it still is I am sure, but has drastically changed.

Curriculum shouldn't be one sided, kids should have critical thinking skills when it comes to current events and other topics. They should have completely unbiased information and have discussions so they can draw an educated conclusion. However, students get graded down if they disagree with their teacher and have a different opinion.

Schools are in fact propagating students, I remember it when I was in school and I can only imagine it has gotten A LOT worse today. We have kids that don't know why the Civil War was even fought, can't name our three branches of government, etc and our education system is failing them in a horrible way! History is being censored because it's too offensive, classic novels can't be read because they are too offensive, etc. How can students today formulate an educated opinion for themselves when they are not taught ALL sides in an unbiased manner? That's why parents need to stay on top of what their kids are being taught!
