If you're poor a part of working underclass you don't have to worry about stuff or private property because you can't afford much to own anyways.

You can barely afford things like rent, electricity, water, vehicle insurance, and food let alone luxury items. You're about one mechanical failure away on your beat up twenty five year old truck from losing your job especially if you live in rural area where there is no public transportation for travel.

Come to think of it, what's the difference between the underclass of a crony capitalist nation and a communist one? Both are essentially propertyless more or less in the same regard. Third positionism is the only way, accept no substitutes.

 

Fukuyama was a joke in the late 80s & is a joke now. His declaration of the 'end of history' gained cache` because it pandered to a bit of end of Cold War triumphalism. The theory had holes you could drive a Caliphate through and simply didn't bear close examination. I can recall picking it apart as an undergrad. Fukuyama himself began to walk beck his theory almost immediately and if I recall correctly has gone through numerous re-inventions since in an attempt to find an audience.

Looks like now he has jumped on the 'socialism is back' bandwagon. Why on earth would anyone care.

 

For 7000 years, humans earned around $440 a year at 1990 dollars. Then, the hockey stick happened right around 1790. In the last 30 years, global poverty has been halfed fueled by economic freedom. Get real with your false fear narrative.

Clean water, decent shelter, a car, electricity, food and ill bet several appliances are all items made affordable to our poorest citizens through free market capitalism. Jesus, quit being so envious.

Affordable, really?

Let's start with stagnant wages the last forty something years yet rent, cost of living, utilities, healthcare, and basic monthly expenses all going up.

Then on top of it all there is the constant devaluation of the dollar.

What this means is your stagnant wages are buying a lot less because the currency is devaluing and on top of that the costs of everything else is sky rocketing up. You call that affordable, right?

 

And your love of chaos, lack of structure, or mismanagement is also noted.

 

Not big on the dollar, but fiat is another discussion. Poor folks in this country have it quite well. I was extremely poor once. In a manner of 7 years, I was able to change that in this country, and I did the simplest of things. For about 5 years, i had to worry about how to pay for food, but I never went hungry.

 

So how did that end of history thing work out for him?
