Mostly because they have been manipulated. But I think that is changing fast. Secondly because Dem pundits put many on all kinds of federal assistance and then tell them they'll lose that if they don't vote Democrat; they've been doing that for years. 1)Those guys with the confederate flags came from across the country to attend a Trump “stop the steal” rally which was organized by violent right wing terrorist groups in concert with the Trump legal and campaign staff. They went directly from that rally where Guiiani, Trump Jr. and Trump himself whipped them into a frenzy to the Capitol and attempted to stop the counting of the certified EC ballots. We all saw that and we know exactly who these traitors are as many have been arrested and charged. I don’t see anything lie that in this gorilla and egg attack

2) It is insulting to black voters to suggest that they have been manipulated and really don’t understand the issues they are voting for and against. Also suggesting that they only vote to get free stuff from Democrats is a disgusting lie and highly insulting and condescending. Not one Republican in either house voted for the John Lewis Voting Rights Act....Do you think that might have something to do with why Black Americans vote for Democrats and against Republicans? I spent a few years in California in the 60s and loved it. 40 years later when I helped my son get his car and belongings to the Bay Area when he took a job at Intel my reaction was “My God, what have they done to this place?”

We vacationed there few years ago, - San Fran, Napa, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, coast towns, and I thought it was an awesome place. That's why I don't get all the comments about CA looking like 3rd world country, or going down the drain. Jealousy is a powerful feeling. And yes, I have driven around the South, which are the poorest in the nation, and I don't think they are in a place to criticize any other State.

 

Referencing your first paragraph, no, no, no. I wasn't even referring to the stop the steal; this went on during Trump's entire presidency. EVERY SINGLE THING anyone who voted for Trump did or said was blamed on Trump. I actually agree with you that Newsome isn't to blame for everything liberals do, but what I was asking you is if you use the same logic for both sides. Or just the one side??

Moving on, to say some people can be manipulated doesn't indicate that they are stupid. Such as our youth have very much been manipulated; not stupid, but perhaps vulnerable to certain orthodoxies. And you should wake up, because many, many people of all races and age groups vote a certain way (mostly Dem) because they are afraid their checks will stop coming if they don't. Older folks on Social Security are a good example. And that insinuation can be used to manipulate. I did not mean to imply that this is strictly an issue with blacks. But you did ask why blacks (specifically) tend to vote Dem.
