What's wrong with making fun of African people? I do not see anyone throwing eggs into the poster; do you?

 

Ridiculing Violent White Liberals along with Violent Black Liberals is a civil responsibility of all Americans.

 

Ridiculing Violent ANYBODY should be your overall target.... including and especially 1/6 participants...

 

1) The practice of blaming candidates or elected officials for anything one of their supporters is prevent on both sides of the spectrum and has been for decades. Look at the title of this thread: “Violent White Liberals Attack Larry Eder”...The reason I am attacking this thread is because it is ridiculous on its face. In many cases news agencies attacked Trump for things he was not responsible for also. I do not support this type of hyperbolic crap from either side of the spectrum.

2) People might vote Democrat because they are afraid that if left to their own designs the Republicans would privatize, then raid the Social Security system that they paid into throughout their whole lives. The GOP has been trying to do this since the Reagan years but have been stifled by Democrats.

Many also feel that the Democrats are more likely to grant higher cost of living benefits to older people living on a fixed income, while Republicans will generally oppose those raises. Does that make them stupid or greedy. I don’t think so. It has been my observation over the years that Republicans will always support policies and appoint judges that will favor large corporations, war profiteers and bank percentage swindlers over working or retired Americans. I can’t remember the last time any Republican voted against huge increases in our over bloated military budget. Can you?

I think Black Americans are very wary of today’s GOP because they see a united front of Republicans in all areas of government opposing voting rights legislation, enacting Jim Crow like legislation directly aimed at districts with large African American populations and engaging in sleazy redistricting, gerrymandering and other intimidating tactics proposed by Republicans throughout America. They are not stupid, easily manipulated or being bought off. They see right through the bullshit being pulled by GOP leadership and aren’t buying what your boys are selling.

 

It was common in such rallies so obviously no one thought there was anything wrong with it.

Or these "hanging Obama" effigies.

I apologize. I should not have posted this. It's OK having fun with each other but when it gets too personal it's not OK I got too personal and I'm sorry.

 

I don't remember seeing those effigies. Those kinds of images are deplorable and anyone posting those things needs to be shamed.

 

Thanks, I do take it personally when people attack my home state and my home town Los Angeles. I have lived here most of my life and have a lot invested in this place and the people who live here. Like any place we have our problems, but there are great people working hard every day to solve them. I know hundreds of people who spend their time and recourses doing exactly that.

 

There were many, one even at a church in Florida.

 

It may not be much comfort, but I'm every bit as negative about the politics of my own home state, New York. I stay here because my family history is here for generations. I love my state and our people too.

But hey, we finally got rid of the jerk in the Governor's mansion.

 

I spend a lot of time in New York and I love that state too. I liked Mario Cuomo but always thought Andrew was very condescending and especially during the early days of the pandemic I got sick of hearing him constantly ponitificating for hours everyday. It’s always been nice to see a know it all blowhard like him get knocked off his pedestal. I don’t necessarily think he is an evil man, but he created his own problems through his arrogance and self righteous nature. Hopefully he will learn from this and be able to put his life back together and be of service in the future. I hope the New Governor has a very successful reign as the leader of New York. Like Californians, New Yorkers are great people who always seem to bounce back tougher and smarter after tough times. Through 9/11, two devastating storms, the Covid outbreak and Cuomo, as far as I can see New York is bouncing back and will be better yet in the future. I love NY. You got a new Governor and a new mayor of NYC. I am optimistic for NY.

 

The Uncle Tom running in the unconstitutional recall election in a pathetic attempt for republicans to takeover California? He deserves all hell has to offer.

 

Cuomo tried to stonewall and ride out his scandals, but in the end he had no friends. No one is mourning his exit.

New York is getting quite a legacy of corrupt Governors and Attorney Generals forced from office.

 

He’s gone and so is DeBlasio. Good for New York. Upward and onward.

I don’t consider nor would I call Larry an Uncle Tom. I do agree however that this GOP instigated coup is a pathetic attempt to win while getting a small percentage of the votes. The California Legislature should move immediately to get rid of this bullshit recall procedure.

 

I guess it could be considered a hate crime. Alex Villanueva has the power to investigate it and find out who this woman is and who put her up to it. I am all for it.

 

I'm hoping people are voting for the candidate who will do the best job.
