Hell I still couldn’t afford to go to Cowboys stadium. Parking is expensive and yeah I have to drive there, it’s like an hour away(DFW is huge).

You have absolute proof? Once again Nelson ratings are down.

But actual attendance is not measured that way.

Even with the season ticket holders, “attendance” is down.

Edit: have you even been to any sporting event?

There are two kinds of attendance- paid attendance and actual attendance.

Paid attendance is tickets sold. Actual attendance is who shows up.

We’ve already discussed those three pics of three of the worst teams in the league... we’d like to see later in the game and also better teams with the same look at kickoff.

I could care less how much The Rating Drops for Billionaires who over charge for Tickets.

Good ... maybe I can now get Season Tickets at a reasonable rate.

How about you tell me why it is OK for the President to try to kill a sport by manufacturing outrage when only a handful of players knelt before he said anything?

Watching NFL football used to be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon back in ancient history before the Internet existed and all the stores were closed. Nowadays I can think of a million things I'd rather do that are far more productive for myself than sitting around and getting bombarded with advertisements for 3 hours just to watch 10 minutes of gameplay.

Ticket and food prices are outrageous so not many people want to spend hundreds of dollars to go sit in rainy cold weather for that.

Not to mention, less and less younger people have cable. Less and less young people care about watching violent blood sports on TV that leave players concussed, crazy, violent, and suicidal. Less and less young people are enthused with football culture in general that leads to the "good old boy" mentality of covering up child rape for the good of the team, like what happened at Penn State. I personally stopped caring about the NFL completely when my team hired convicted dog killer Michael Vick. Well you know, sometimes dogs need to be sacrificed in order to make sure your team can make more money.

Millennials are the last generation that remotely give a **** about the NFL. As the Silent Generation and Boomers die off, the NFL will continue to sink because Generation Z does not care at all about the NFL. It's a form of entertainment for old dinosaurs.

But don't think it's going anywhere. The federal government subsidizes the NFL in order to present pro-military propaganda to its viewers. We need some way to keep up the morale of having endless, unwinnable wars. That's why Donald Trump is so outraged over people who kneel in front of some piece of cloth. Ironically, so-called "fiscally conservative" Republicans defend the NFL and Trump to death.

If the NFL sinks low enough, the federal government will deem it too big to fail and will bail it out. Perhaps it may even nationalize it one day, to be the official propaganda arm of the military. If people can get their weekly violent blood sports broadcast to them very easily on Netflix or Youtube, then the idea of endless unwinnable war will not seem like such a crazy idea afterall because they will be numbed to the idea of violence. The younger generations will not even know an America that was never at war. War will become synonymous with peace, just as Orwell predicted in 1984. And taxpayers will be paying for all of it so the military industrial complex can continue to make its disgusting profits.

    Wow.

Ok I’m guessing you haven’t been to a sporting event before.

    Here’s a lesson for you:

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/sports...s-attendance-figures-speak-lies/#3450a6c72b2a

If you followed the business of sports, you’ll know that about 20 years ago, the move to count tickets sold, as opposed to turnstile clicks, became what is reported in the boxscores. The reason – wholly done for accounting purposes for the clubs – showed what matters to owners most: money.

Seriously, do you not get that the two guys you are talking to(myself and Horses) both agree that attendance is down(whether it’s paid or actual) we’d just like to see better examples than three of the worst teams in the league, and maybe a bit later in the game so the stragglers etc are actually in their seats.

No, in a warehouse. NO statute was moved to a museum. They are being hidden out of sight in secret locations, if not just outright destroyed.

But, if you have a sharp eye, the shear number of college games (as opposed to the NFL) gives the discerning sports bettor more opportunities to find a "mistake in the line".

Wait after all that you agree attendance is down so what's the disagreement?

I said that in my response to his pictures... you just jumped in all huffing and puffing for no reason so I don’t know what YOUR disagreement is.

Again, we just wanted to see better pictures than ones at kickoff of three of the worst teams in the league.
