Palestine has been being destroyed. It's people have been ethnically cleansed - Israel needed to get them out for her Jewish State. That is just a practicality. If a Jewish State was what Israel wanted then the partition was not going to provide that. Along with that went the demolition of Palestine, it's villages and so on. That process has been on going. Israel has been working trying to remove the history of who almost certainly are the closest direct descendants of the ancient Jews and putting an imagined past centred around Jews instead. Likewise she has been stealing parts of the cultural identity of Palestine trying to create a a Jewish 'cultural' past which was not there. Jaffa's history has been being changed for visitors and that reflects what has been ongoing since the original ethnic cleansing and destruction of hundreds of Palestine villages. Gradually an artificial history and country is being created which will be 'the home of the Jews' created by expelling the people who are the most direct descendants to the ancient Jews....and there is no excuse by saying that they gave up Judaism so they deserve to be expelled from their land. The 'Jews' who came to Israel would not have been considered 'Jews' a few decades before they got the idea to colonise Palestine. Most of them had given up the religion of Judaism and so would no longer have been Jews. They would have been just ordinary people. Possibly they would have taken on Christianity but religion was beginning to loose it's appeal so maybe they would not. They just would have got on with things and those who remained Jews would just have continued to have arguments with Christians until there probably was very few and all the secularists told them to shut up and accept each other if they wanted to be religious.

This racism has destroyed the history of the Holy Land of Palestine and the descendants of the ancient Jews. Some day reparations will need to be done.
