Christianity is a lie, since Adam wouldn't need/have a bellly button.

Creationism has never been a sentiment to intelligent thought pointing out why some beliefs are stupid is fine if the people actually hold these beliefs but as we've seen a lot of Christians don't believe in creationism they actually accept evolution now. I actually only found out recently that Adam was actually an old Hebrew word for man apparently and that it's possible that the original meaning of that might have been God created man from dust, I've seen other Christians also say that a lot of the stories were parables or something similar to that for moral teachings. If people want to believe in a God and a book to get some influence in morals and don't try to impose it on others then I've generally got no problem with it.

You don't WANT to answer this tricky question, do you? Because either way your "faith" is reduced....by just a tiny bit, but by some amount none the less.

Modern Secular Humanism values the TRUTH more than religions do, I argue.

Doc Dred probably thinks this is a plant, by, er, uh, SATAN (yeah, that's the ticket!), to "test our faith". That Satan is one busy dude, because he keeps planting more and more "fossils" around the world for us to discover. He's tricky!

Doc should remove his kids from school, because once they learn of this "carbon dating" thing they'll probably realize that their dad was lying to them all along.

I agree with those Christians on this, yes, JESUS was just a "parable of something similar to that for moral teachings", and wasn't real.

What do I care, but seeing as how you're the one claiming that he has a belly button then I can only assume that you have the evidence to back that up.

You seemingly don't want to answer the tricky question that I posed to you "Did I say one way or the other????" Because your faith in 'yourself' will be reduced....by just a tiny bit, but by some amount none the less.

The most famous painting of "god/Adam" of all time, dude. People haven't seemed to notice that Adam had a navel in Michelangelos painting. Because they are blinded by the fear that Jesus taught (it's all about him....what an egomaniac....I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life, me, me, me!!) to ever really dare question the Biblical account of things.

Jesus believed in the biblical creationism story (the earth is 6000 years old), or obviously he would have clarified it for us sometime w/in the last 2000 years, seeing how he's all-loving and all-knowledgeable and stuff...
Darwin made Jesus look like a fool.

Did Adam have a navel? Was Michelangelo wrong? It's a simple question.

You care, you just don't like the answer you'd have to give, obviously.
    1. Did Adam have a navel?
    2. Is the Bible wrong when it says the earth is 6000 - 10,000 years old?

Let's assume for the sake of argument that Adam isn't a fairy tale. How would you go about explaining to someone why a painting of Adam with a belly button proves he didn't exist?

This is a little offtopic, but carbon dating isn't used to date dinosaur fossils. They're just too old for carbon dating to give any useful data. Lead-Uranium dating or Lead-lead dating may be used, or some other form of radiometry, which are based on the same principles. Just not that specific method.

    Two questions for you:
    1. The bible says that we were created in God's image, so a man-like god would be roughly what he looks like, no?
    2. is the bible wrong, and we were NOT created in god's image, or is the bible right and we WERE created in his image? If the bible is right, then why does god need a penis?
