A senator has no business "warning" the supreme court about anything. The supreme court interprets the constitution, irregardless of public opinion. At least that's what they are supposed to do.

As far as public opinion does go, toddlers will throw tantrums; it's what they do.

If SCOTUS deems Roe V. Wade unconstitutional, abortion will be left up to states. Abortion won't be illegal at the federal level if Roe V. Wade is deemed unconstitutional. The federal gov't will just get out of the abortion business.

 

Righties shouldn't be supporting unwanted children. The parents of said unwanted children should be supporting them...Hint: the US isn't a socialist society...not yet.

You quoted my response to another poster who suggested that all unwanted children (not aborted) would need assistance from the gov't, for example, and said poster also suggested that members of the GOP wouldn't be offering that assistance for unwanted children. Well, that factoid from that post wasn't true...Some parents will step up and care for an unwanted child and some parents will let the unwanted child be adopted...And some members of the GOP will step up for parents who don't want to step up.

 

Some states will give them that choice. BTW, Texas and Georgia, for examples, will give them that choice.

Yes, some UNWANTED children whose parents can't take care of them will need assistance in the form of Welfare, SNAP, WIC...and other entities that REPUBLICANS want to cut funding to because people who don't think BORN children are NOT "precious" don't want to pay for them.

Then righties better start adopting because lots of kids in the system are NOT adopted.

How many have you adopted?

AND there is always the option of aborting a kid one can't care for or doesn't want to care for..
