Also, National Reciprocity has already successfully been passed, as it concerns qualified active and Retired Law Enforcement Officers under LEOSA.

The proper way to go thru this is to get the SCotUS to apply the 14th amendment to the right and keep arms in the same manner it applied the 14th amendment to the right of marriage.

The upside may be not losing more seats in 2018 as it gets closer to campaign season.

Personally, I'd like to see the feds stay away from CHL legislation. I can carry anywhere in the US within 600 miles of my house already. I don't need federal control over my license. They will treat it like highway funds and make you lower speed limits and raise drinking age to keep the funds. (or in this case, jump through hoops to keep your license)

Just because Trump has a bigger personal wallet doesn't mean that he used it to buy an election. Hillary couldn't pay people to attend her rallies because she was too busy paying people to start fights at Trump's rallies. Judging by the size of Trump's rallies, I don't think he had to pay people to be there. In fact, the people were supporting Trump's campaign.

I would LOVE the GOP to try. There would be riots in the streets. The filibuster is called the soul of the senate. To do it even for only supreme court justices was called the nuclear option. To do it for everything would be called the Death Star. LOL
