Why is it that Anti-Gun rhetoric and opinions carry more weight (with Anti-Gun advocates) than do the Personal Experiences of the Pro-Gun side, in all my experiences I have disproved all of the fallacies of the Anti-Gun advocates.

 

No, just the opposite. It's dangerous prohibiting United States citizens from defending themselves by caring a firearm.

 

There are 30 states that allow their citizens to carry with a permit. There are 12 states that allow their citizens to carry without a permit (Constitutional Right To Carry). That's a total of 42 states allowing their citizens to carry. The 8 remaining restricted states need to "progress" along with the other 42 states...

That is because there are a lot of safe white neighborhoods. Google murders by zip code, Chicago does not seems as safe then (at least areas of Chicago ).

 

No intention of hesitating to post of my personal experiences if they are pertinate to a point; unlike some here, I have had (the unwanted) experience of having to defend my and others lives. Then too, I have direct experience that contradicts many of the armchair assertions I have seen posted.

 

What is strange to me is how Gun Control advocates post web sites with unproved statistics, about use of Guns, yet refuse to acknowledge true defensive Gun use accounts, we have a great ongoing thread on that topic, and Anti-Gun People have soundly ignored it.

 

Just like much of the media ignores it. Even a successful defense with a gun is not to be lauded.... guns are 'bad' don't you know... the more victims whether innocent or criminal bad guns are responsible and that is how the stories get spun.

 

Two years and not a single liberal has posted in either of those threads.
