    Yes, and by law, they are obligated to turn it over to Congress on request.

    I'm not sure what you are referring to by "this" as in "this can backfire"..... I'll need a hypothetical for me to debunk, if you will...

    Try again...Frank Steinmeier Germany’s foreign minister has wanted them back...adding in 2016 that no major foreign conflict could be solved without them.

    And in 2017 Shinzō Abe the PM of Japan asked for them to return

    Okay. You, like every other American, have committed crimes. If you support the abuse of power against Trump, what prevents it from being used against you? I am certain that an investigation into Trump will reveal tax evasion, obstruction, or lying to a federal agent. Same with you.

    Oh... the Foreign Minister?? You didn't say you had the German Foreign Minister... And he says he "wants" them back, and you take this to represent Germany wants them back???

    Why didn't you say so the first time??

    Abe is open to discussions on the idea... as everybody should be.....he has never committed to inviting Russia back in....

    The final vote of every G7 going forward should be whether to invite Russia back in the following year... And it won't pass at this time.

    The same things that prevents it today.... Time, Suspicion and Scope.

    We usually only go after the big fish in this country.... I'm not remotely a big fish while Trump is a beached carp...

    And nobody is abusing anything.... they are using rarely used (or needed) laws to perform investigations and oversight....

    When Nadler brings Hope Hicks into the Judiciary basement and waterboards her to turn on Trump, then we can talk about abuse.

    I wish that were true, but we currently incarcerate more of our population that the rest of the world. Abuse of power is already a problem and supporting the expansion when you agree with what they are doing does not prevent that power from being used against you. I am not a fan of Trump, but would rather have him for 8 years than allow increased abuse of power that will last for generations. Its not worth it.

    It looks like both Russian oligarchs and Saudi Arabia cosigned loans to Trump from the Deutsche Bank. This means Trump is millions of dollars in debt to Putin through Russian oligarchs. How is this possible? Some people could not even get a poverty job with a bad credit record, or a misdemeanor arrest. How did Trump make it into the White House as President without revealing his tax history! Trump is now the Commander-in-Chief of the Pentagon, and all State security surveillance agencies and domestic police forces! They got us!

    How could the most expensive defense and surveillance system in the world fail on this scale?

    Not only that, Trump received money from Saudi Arabia from which the majority of the 9/11 terrorists came from who murdered more than 3,000 Americans in New York in a single day! Remember the Bush Dynasty did business with the Bin Laden family for decades before the attack. And now Saudi money found another client and put a fascist, Trump, in the White House. Astounding!
