Dexter Season Finale: Are You Effing Kidding Me?

Ugh I hated Shane so much! I am so glad they killed him off. He died way faster in the comic though. lol

 

nahhh shane was the best BY FAR such an awesome character. Ever since they killed him i lost 75% interest in the show. the governor is cool though...

I wish i never read the comics.... it kinda gives too much spoilers...and i enjoy being surprised when i watch the show which is probably why i like american horror story so much.

I am actually enjoying comparing the comic to the TV series considering they are so different.

I have not seen American Horror Story yet. I'll have to check that one out soon. We're always looking for new shows/movies to watch!

 

american horror story is SOOOO GOOD season 2 is really good so far.

the governor is okay im on his side after michonne killed penny.

the comic and tv show are different, except the show is based off of the comics. the show usually doesnt stray far from the main story of the comics

Well, nobody here is taking it any more seriously than a TV show and I highly doubt that you've invested 7 years of your life into this TV show as I have or any other with a running narrative. Yes, Dexter fans take it seriously, that's what it means to be a fan and this thread is for people who are as invested in the show as I am, not gawkers sitting on the sidelines throwing popcorn. You made an erroneous claim, that Dexter was not responsible for Doakes death, and then when proven wrong, you revert back to "you all take this show too seriously,". It would have been far more classy to say, "You're right, I never saw it that way" or something to that effect. I take it that you've watched some Dexter and have an idea of what the show is about. So instead of ridiculing everyone, you might want to engage the topic.

 

Pedophile? but ya the series was always meant to take the likable killer and make him and people around him you like do darker and darker things after you got attached to them drama what can you do

 

i know shes not a legit Pedophile..... but she is in love with her brother.... thats about equal to being a Pedophile..

Don't be so quick to rule out pedophilia on display on the Dexter series. There's still at least one more season to go and the depravity has just begun.

I do remember him saying that debra learns about dexter being a killer VERY early on. like season 1 by the shows standards. I also remember him saying that the ice truck killer (aka dexter's brother) lives until very late in the series or never dies i think.

I guess if I were writing the script like Michael C. Hall, I would be gravitating in that direction too. Jennifer Carpenter is one hot piece of ass.

They are not blood related, Dexter is her adopted brother, and I think this season was excellent! It showed the complete breakdown of Dexter having control of every situation. As he stated to "Harry" when he broke into LaGuerta's home, The cover he created to mask his real life has now become his life and he likes it. I think Batista will catch on since he and LaGuerta were lovers and will vow to find out what really happened. Find out why no backup was called for, find out why she was so fixated on Dexter. Remember she is not the first to suspect something was wrong with him. Doakes, and then Quinn as well. My prediction is Dexter will take the fall for Deb and either die for her, or allow himself to be arrested and face trial. He has lost control over his life and is now making mistakes he would never make in earlier seasons. He is a sick man and he knows it. That is why he dropped to his knees when Deb shot her boss, in that instance he knew that he had destroyed his sisters life. As sick as he is he does have compassion for the people he loves.

 

I think quin and batista are going to play a large part in taking down dexter

 

It's called acting hun. She didn't really kill anyone. lol
