You as a white male are the planet's primary scapegoat.

 

I work in healthcare also, and people of all races get things like that time and again. I'm a white woman and have gotten it. In my case, more from black coworkers and random black strangers. I once witnessed a black nursing assistant neglect a white patient who defecated on the floor and went off into another room to socialize with a black patient. Years ago when I worked cleaning hospital rooms, I used to sit and eat dinner every work night with a group of black coworkers. I got tired of the racist ranting followed by, "Oh not you, you're different" that I quit eating with them.

 

Physical attributes can never determine "privilege". Cut this bollox already please!

3. Value Wealth over Riches

Yes there is a a such thing as white male privilege.


Logically there can only be white male privilege. Since America isn't a truly free market, and we live in a protectionist economy, white people would have the the most historical protection. There are many instances in US history where white men are protected, and laws to protect white people are still in place. For example welfare and minimum wage were put in place to protect white male workers and kill competition. And today these laws still marginalize minorities.

Regulations at the end of the day will only benefit the white man before it benefits anybody else. Whenever you entrust your economic functions to government, then you are esssentailyl putting yourself in a situation where you can only have privilege.

This is why we need the free market. Because in a free market, white privilege wouldn't matter. The issue isn't that there is white privilege, the issue is that it means anything.

Can a non-white male make a decent living or even become rich? Yes. But they don't actually OWN anything. As long as white men control the capital, and as long as money remains regulated, then white males will always have the advantage economically speaking.

We need a true free market.

 

If a protectionist economy is protecting white people from competition, then advocating for free markets is asking whites to drop their protections and I don't see how any group in such a position would be willing to do that.

Free markets are that in name only for a good reason. In this society a dollar should circulate plenty of times to get the most productive use out of it. This is not possible when many of the dollars are free to go wherever like it is in the Black Community. Effects of NAFTA, competition with illegal labor, etc. are examples of the true nature of free markets. Free markets aren't good for groups of people locked out the mainstream economy. The answer imho is to go protectionist.

Many whites practice group economics (e.g. nepotism), but so do many other ethnic groups in America. I don't see why group economics wouldn't solve many of the socioeconomic problems in the black community. Sell services and products to the market, but keep as much of the proceeds in the community as possible.
