No matter what side the issue falls on you're going to piss someone off.

Why can't they simply play baseball and leave it at that?

 

I don't understand why all of these groups feel like everyone is supposed to take a stand and support them.

It's not enough for these people to simply exist, they have to demand that everyone "takes a stand on the issue".

Is it okay if we simply do not care? Why don't you see heterosexuals forming groups and demanding that everyone comes out and supports them?

Pointing out hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance is a tool that attempts to wake people up but so many would prefer to lay asleep.

Just a side note: while these attempts to call this out frequently upset the individual that refuses to see their own bias — it is more meant to illuminate said bias for viewers that are open to new information.

That's very doubtful because heterosexuals just go about living their normal life and don't think they need to parade it in front of people and think that other people are supposed to go "oh how brave, we need to celebrate them" !

Were heterosexuals ever arrested for being heterosexual? Executed? Placed in camps and gassed? Targeted with police stings? Denied healthcare? Denied rights? Representation made illegal in schools?

Kids don't seek out churches, but churches certainly seek out children. LOTS of children. For thousands of years. And despite all that we know about the physical & sexual abuse of children in churches and church run institutions parents still force children to attend. Many of those same parents are the ones screaming about drag queens. Probably the sort of people who "just want to have a child to teach them how evil these people are".
