Nah, it came out recently that oil prices were going UP and the Trumptards were ecstatic. "More JOBS," they gloated, though they were being taken from everyone else's pockets. Trump and the Trumptards aren't even trying to hide that they are robbing us to reward themselves.

There are many but you can start with Sanctions on Iraq which lead to a massive humanitarian crisis and hundreds of thousands of deaths.
The war in Yugoslavia was another sht show.

Then in general he maintained the Establishment agenda of trampling on individual liberty ... using the "drug war" as an excuse - something he doubled down on jailing thousands and thousands for Pot.

That said - compared to the nightmare that came after - Clinton was a Jewel of a President.

For quite a long time they have been harsh people who were careful about pissing us off. Not anymore.... Our Wimp in Chief has put a price on the right to attack people under our protection. And they don't even need to pay up front.... just.... pinky-promise they'll spend it.

Let's cut the crap. Not even that! They want to get on our backs... all they have to do is do business with the Trump family, and they're good.

How Trump has sold off our country for personal profit is no longer even remarkable. What is remarkable is how Trump supporters have chosen idolatry above patriotism. Sad indeed!

    Exactly.

Trump suggests 'rogue killers' may be responsible for Khashoggi's disappearance

    https://www.politico.com/story/2018/10/15/pompeo-meets-saudi-king-900193

The rogue killers story is being floated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as an implausible explanation for Khashoggi's disappearance. But just as Don chose to believe Putin over the US intel agencies in Vlad's denial of meddling in our elections he appears willing to take MBS' word over that of Turkish authorities.

    Why?

Not only because the US does a lot of defense industry biz with SA but because of the biz ties Don and the fam (see Jared) have with SA.

The "angry mob" meme was just a ruse to take attention away from Brett committing perjury..........I thought you knew that.

I will never understand democrats. Here they had this slam dunk case against Kavanaugh for committing perjury. Yet they pursued the she says/he says sexual and alcohol angles. Could it be that when it came down to it, that the perjury was also impossible ot prove?

You know, that might be a good deal. I can think of some "journalists" who would certainly be worth trading for.

Nope, you've been duped again. Do you think Schlitz Kavanaugh and Clarence have gotten together over a beer and a coke to discuss the merits of having a group of old white men on your side when you commit perjury?

You are off topic. The OP is commenting on weapon sales to despots. My response was it would be easier to sell them to one of the many angry mobs of democrats roaming the streets in America.

Probably. I bet Thomas slipped a pube on the can of beer he handed Kavanaugh.

Probably had a great laugh over the lies the left tried to sell.

He was a legal resident with in the United States and was in the process of becoming a citizen. Legal residents are subject to US law and pay US taxes just like citizens do, and so they should be treated the same as citizens when it comes to the obligation of the government to ensure their safety.

Don't take it wrong, but the golden age of USA seems over for the rest of the world, and it's not the fault of Trump. I'm neither an anti or pro trump, it's true that he gave to many countries the wish to find other relations without cutting anything with the USA. The cause of this small downfall of USA is the rise of countries like China or Saudi Arabia. From my point of view, Russia is much less relevant because they're rather weak from an economical point of view, and we're living in the world based on commercial might first, not military.
EU is a complicate case because it's a lot under the influence of the USA and it's an extremly divided, even if it's probably the first might of the world from an economical point of view.

I'm not even sure that it's the USA who caused that downfall, it's too the fact that a lot of other countries developped themselves during the last decade.

If this guy is a US resident what was he doing at a Saudi Arabian consulate in Turkey?

Both of which are beyond US jurisdiction

No ... there's plenty of justification to supply the Saudi's with arms. If the Saudi's murdered a journo in Turkey, Erdogan and Interpol need to pursue the matter. The US can extradite whomever is responsible. Kheshoggi wasn't a US representitive, and killing him can't be construed as an attack on the US. Saudi / US relations are critical to peace and stability. Kheshoggi's not worth sacrificing the security of millions, especially when it's unjustifiable from a legal perspective.
