It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Bannon refused to answer questions at the direction of the WH citing a protection that does not exist. A WH claiming to be cooperating fully with the investigations. A WH claiming to have nothing to hide. A claim that is contradictory to their actions.

 

Oh, it's a fact? Well then we'll soon be seeing Bannon indicted, or at least jailed and heavily fined for contempt. Whew! Glad you cleared that up. You think they'll be arresting him today sometime?

 

Yeah, I'm with you on this issue--Why would the White House put a "gag" order on Bannon if there is nothing to hide? That is the number one question---
If trump thinks this investigation is nothing but a game, he should know that eventually all games come to an end,there is a winner & a loser, and by him blocking or misdirecting or lying, he (trump) is "already" losing---
My bet is that eventually it will come down to,are "all" these people(trumps inner circle) that have been indicted or have plead guilty "willing" to go to jail for a guy(trump) that has proven he has no loyalty to them---I bet "not"----

The House committee has called him back to testify on Thursday. We'll see how forthcoming he is when he appears. If he still refuses to answer the House members will have to go to court to seek an order compelling him to answer. He has also been issued a subpoena by Mueller so we know his testimony will be given at some point.
My observation has more to do with the statements by the WH, blindly accepted by the minions, claiming cooperation while they attempt to stonewall the investigations. You know, and I know, if Hillary's former chief strategist, possibly privy to information pertinent to the investigations, refused to answer questions even after being subpoenaed by a House committee you'd be having a meltdown. Instead, you don't seem to notice the WH is duping you...........again.

 

Nothing except it demonstrates the quality of trump's legal advice and tried to invoke non existent executive priviledge over the transition and after he left the administration. Hmmmm, yet another an attempt to block justice, disguised within a legitimate application of privilege for bannon's time in the white house? or just lousy lawyering creating unnecessary additional suspicion?

Do you see the contradiction in the WH claims of cooperation while they simultaneously put a gag order on Bannon's testimony following Sessions' refusal to answer questions without invoking executive privilege? There isn't anything to hide, right? So why the lack of cooperation?

 

Wonder who they learned that from? I didn't like it from the Clintons, nor from Obama... wasn't outrage or meltdown, because I practice law and understand zealous lawyering. Yeah, it stinks that people lawyer out of direct answers to Congressional questions, but that's the nature of the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex as it applies to -both- parties. They take care of their own, and for the most part their committees and investigations are dog and pony shows to divert public attention from mountains of Complex corruption and wrongdoing. Trump is "Bush league" compared to those two prior master stonewallers and "is is" con artists, so pardon me for not being able to form any outrage about being dodgy in front of Congress just because it's "Drumpf's" guy doing it. Far from that making me some kind of "minion" it just makes me another fed up American who -doesn't- suffer from TDS.

 

I'd appreciate it if you could provide an example of a Dem admin saying they are fully cooperating with congressional investigations while telling a subpoenaed witness called to testify not to answer questions on certain subjects by invoking a privilege that does not exist.

 

Was there ever any doubt that this rotten and fetid administration would "obstruct justice" at every turn? No...there never was any doubt.

 

They don't trust DC anymore.
