    Is Mussa Felool? (Mubarak remnant)

Felool is someone who satisfies 3 or more of the following

It is someone who satisfies three or more of the following conditions:

    1. Served for a lengthy period with Hosny Mubarak in a very senior capacity
    2. Visibly approved of Mubarak's methods of running the country
    3. Gained financially from and/or contributed to the corruption prevalent during Mubarak's rule
    4. Has a proven view of the relation between government and people which is authoritarian, policing and superior
    5. Has an elitist, arrogant view of the majority of Egyptian people, sees them as ignorant and/or unintelligent, undeserving/incapable of entry into KG1 of democracy school
    6. Believes it was possible to reform Mubarak's regime and that revolution was not inevitable and/or necessary
    7. Contributed directly to the corruption of political life in Egypt and would again
    8. Contributed directly to the demeaning of Egypt's regional/international status and would again

    So is he felool?

    1. YES (Mousa is Mubarak's longest serving foreign minister with ten years worth of tenure)
    2. YES (Mousa is on record saying "I know how Mubarak manages the country, I would vote for him if he runs for president")
    3. NO. Not so much as an accusation which is near miraculous given the amount of accusations chasing so many of Mubarak's previous cabinet members.
    4. NO. Actually arguable, he's pretty arrogant, but no evidence I have seen confirms that he would continue in this vein of "government as baton-wielding police force". Let's give the man the benefit of the doubt on this one.
    5. NO. Again, arguable, but nothing apart from the wiggling of the forefinger to prove this. Again, benefit of the doubt.
    6. YES. Refer to 2 above.
    7. YES and NO. Is being a senior member of the regime evidence of involvement? I'll leave it to you.
    8. OH YEAH! Moussa, like his ex-boss, is an adherent to the school of thought which basically says "Grovel to the Americans, their Israeli proxies and the Gulf Arabs, for they hold the purse-strings and more".

Final verdict: Moussa is folool, not as blatantly as say Ahmed Shafik or Safwat Sherif, but quite clearly folool.

    Well this is interesting

A bunch of MB defectors are planning to register themselves with the government using the name 'Muslim Brotherhood' to make them legal.

The current ikhwan are not legally recognised

What are the old ikhwan going to call themselves then? :omg:

Well today and tomorrow Egyptians are electing their new president.
Big turn out with all 4 sections of military securing the elections. Voting is expected to be around 80%. Under Mubarak is was 8% with 5% forced to vote Mubarak.

Old men and women are voting for the first time in their lives. They say finally they feel there is a point to voting whereas under Mubarak there was no point as the elections were rigged.

All the reports are saying things are running smoothly. Monitors are saying they are not seeing any evidence of rigging with few instances of procedural problems nothing more. Mauritius PM is one of the monitors and is happy with all the poll stations he attended. Jimmy Carter is also monitoring.

All presidential runners stood in long lines at their poll stations to cast their vote. They all made a point of not having any special treatment and queued with citizens. not like the circus we endured under Mubarak. It was hot today and people were patient and organised.
Fotouh was the only one to make any comment. "Today Egyptians will elect a Civil Servant"

Mussa was silent but showed his finger.

Shaifk held a press conference which violates the Election Committee Rules and has been reported to the committee by MP Sultan. He could be disqualified for violating the rules. I hope so!!!I still cannot believe anyone would vote for this man !!!

Yesterday I was in Khan Al Khalili area and the entire bazaar was filled with people ALL talking politics. This is something Egypt never had before. Egyptians would be arrested for talking politics and now Mubarak is gone people are free to talk in the streets.......even the children in the bazaar were joining in the conversations with their views!!!!
No matter where you go the topic is elections. It is a very exciting time. Army trucks were mobilizing and I got stuck behind a line of them on the ring road yesterday morning all being deployed around the polling centres and areas I guess.

I did not vote today as I was too busy but am voting tomorrow morning. Polling closes 8pm tomorrow then the big count.

Some TV analysts were saying that the run off will be between Morsi and Fotouh with Fotouh winning.

They figured that Morsi will get 20% from the MB voters plus 5% outside MB giving him 25% of the vote.

Fotouh will get 25% because his voters are very varied right from Salafist to youth to copts to celebrities to liberals to everything in between.

That makes 50% so the other 50% is split between the rest of the candidates. That leaves the run off between Morsi and Fotouh. I dont take too much notice of polls as they are very misleading so no idea if these analysts are right or wrong.

The main thing is someone is going to win and that person has to unite all sides and for me the only one capable of that is Fotouh. He is appealing to all groups from extreme right to extreme left. He was with the revolution from the beginning and before. His campaigners are by far the most polite and educated from what I have witnessed and spoken to.

His campaign manager is Rabab al Mahdi a very recognised face in Egypt on human rights and activism.

    Rabab El Mahdi (above)

I still say Fotouh is the man to lead us forward. Anyone else will split Egyptians too much.

He is running not as El Presidente but as part of a team of advisors and experts. He has said he will appoint a young VP.

Soon we will find out who get the top job.

Everytime I see this mans face he reminds me of Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen.

For sure if he is voted in he will be just as hard to remove from power!!!

We would need dynamite to get off off the throne!!

A cross between Omar Suleiman-Mubarak- Habib Al Adley!

    Ahmed Shafik (Felool)

He's an ugly bugger, ain't he !

Personally, I think that a Mos.Bros. president will most easily facilitate the transition from military to civilian governance. Egyptians should look upon this first elected president as the necessary step away from military rule. Mind you, Egypt can never be free until it ditches US of AIPAC bribe money. As long as it continues to accept hand-outs it is a puppet State.

Have you seen the scale of the corruption in Pakistan ? The US of AIPAC Congress has voted to withhold 33 million dollars from the Pakistani aid budget because the Pakistani judiciary didn't perform according to US of AIPAC dictats !! Now that exposes the truth about the strings attached to American money. It isn't ' aid ' other than ' aid ' to the Zionist agenda.

There is a video circulating about a reporter in NYC ( where Shafik won) Egyptian embassy.

People are accusing the New York Embassy of vote rigging.

I read the first part of the consuls explanation and went no further.

The consul is lying in the first sentence.

The video from inside the embassy

The MB will not take US aid they say. They are also very much against the IMF loan. They want us to pick ourselves up and I am for that. Next month the benzine is being raised and I am also for that. This is one measure to raise money from within. Foreign aid is not true aid. Under Mubarak we suffered because of his bribes and who bribed him and I want a clean start away from the Mubarak style bribery that destroyed my country. Mussa has done really badly and I said all along we can never trust this man as he has 2 faces and Egyptians knew this. At least with Shafik we know what we are getting. He doesn't hide what he is. Shafik I blieve is behind much of the thuggery and instablilty because who else can state that he will restore security in 6 hours of he is not part of it!!!!!!!!!

I am sad that Fotouh did not do better.

Well we are sure to have a Morsi v Shafik race now and I will vote Morsi.

I dont want another felool thug who is currently facing 32 charges of corruption in our courts as president. If he is found guilty on just one of those charges he will be eliminated. Morsi has clean hands because no one can find anything to accuse him of. He is not felool.

May Allah protect us from our enemies and those who say they are our friends and those who vote Mussa and Shafik.

I have a very bad feeling now.

Under Mubarak his regime was the cause of so many sectarian incidents.

If Morsi wins I can really predict a big problem now with the Christians.

Not from the MB BUT from the felool who will do as they always done and instigate trouble in the dark to cause chaos. These felool will not die easily. They know that their empires will be investigated by MB and they will be dragged through the courts.

I really believe that the Christians will suffer as the felool once again try to split the country into war.

May Allah bring a swift death to felool so that my country can live in peace without corruption and with our brothers the christians because I know this is going to be very hard times ahead knowing the felool mechanism for destruction of order.

If MB had not fielded Shatr then Morsi with Al Awa we would now be looking at a respected moderate Fotouh winning first round.

Fotouh who would have united the country. His base was very broad and diverse.

Now we have Shafik who will polarize the country into Chistian against Muslim like before.

Shafik takes 55% of votes in Menoufeya governerate the home of Mubarak and his clan

    Morsi 19%

    Fotouh 12.57%

    -----------------------------------------------

Sabahi official stands firm in support of their candidate.
My feeling is he should have stepped aside and let Fotouh win outright!

Fotouh has called on all of his campaigners and voters to vote for Morsi in 2nd round to support revolution and to not support 'non revolution felool Shafik'. That was quick and good advice by Fotouh!

Egyptians have voted FOR the revolution and to rid ourselves of Mussa and Shafik mafia by 70% to Mubarak mafia 30%
