Really strange that bats and wet markets have been around for centuries, but it only jumped species recently. Conspicuously jumped species while the Wuhan virology lab was studying the virus. I can't believe anyone thinks that's a coincidence.

The potential smoking guns are: 1) EcoRI and BstEII restriction sites that are often used to genetically swap genetic sequences in the lab. 2) A furin cleavage site, which was known to make corona viruses more infectious. However, in contrast to the initial report, it was later shown that furin cleavage sites are not unique to Sars-Cov-2 and were also found in other corona viruses. 3) A small cluster of viral pneumonia cases in 2012 in a mine near Wuhan, which was investigated in the Wuhan lab.

The recently reported cases of the viral pneumonia cases in the Wuhan lab in November of 2019, of course, add fuel to the fire. So, I think it is warranted that the Biden administration is re-opening the investigation of the origins of Sars-Cov-2. No matter whether the virus has natural origin, was leaked from the Wuhan lab because they studied previous viral pneumonia cases, or because of gain-of function research, the conclusion should be an international prohibition of gain of function research, through the UN. Governments that are in violation should face sanctions.

 

That is the bottom line here. Those saying Trump did nothing and or caused all the China virus fatalities are liars that have no truth in them.

 

Untrue. He started acting in January while the Congress was consumed with impeachment and viewed covid 19 as a deflection from that mission. He created the covid 19 commission that began researching what we were going to be dealing with and met with them and shut down travel with China then.

 

He did not do anything about PPE, mask or respirators till late March. He did not need Congress for this.
