Which is an impossibility...... We know the good guy who stopped the shooting was legally armed and had a CCW permit. We don't know anything about the other guy. My guess is that he was not legally armed/allowed to own a gun, and this just shows the futility of gun laws.

Other than extremely repressive countries such as North Korea where are criminals unable to get guns. There is Japan, but their society certainly puts a huge emphasis on conformity. Anyone who thinks gun control will keep guns away from criminals in the US is deluded.

Here's the Democrat argument on "gun control":

We have laws that say criminals can't have guns, and murder is already illegal, so we're going to take away your right to defend yourself since we are incapable of protecting you.

Since they are incapable of protecting you, they will take away more of your rights until they can protect you.

Eventually you will be completely safe.

Sorry for your lack of comprehension. More gun sales do not indicare that a higher percentage of household have guns. The declining murder rate Correlates to a decreasing percentage of housholds owning guns.
