    Actual data is as follows:

    http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tan...aphics-and-politics-of-gun-owning-households/

The main takeaway is that old people own the vast majority of guns while whites own about half. Be curious as to your data that shows most guns are owned by the more educated and wealthy though that could actually be true since there are a lot of gun collectors out there and owning the better weapons is a bit pricey.

I think the words "lawful" and "unlawful/illegal" are permanently purged and put on "ignore" in liberals brains. Always seems to skirt around what someone specifically says about LAWFUL gun ownership and post things about illegal ownerships. It like how the left never seem to understand that the right wants to stop ILLEGAL immigration, not LAWFUL immigration.

People are freaking out over 3D printed guns, and you think people can't make their own ammo?

Well if you have the data that separates legal from illegal go ahead and post it. Otherwise you are adding nothing to the discussion.

Sorry but your imagination provides no actual useful input. But your claim that cops are breaking the law would be interesting if you can actually support the claim.

    You already did.
"White", "Rural", "Republican", "Conservative", All adds up to the lowest crime rate demographic of the US. Your site was about lawful gun ownership, and it reinforces the quote you were trying to disprove.

People have made their own ammo just like they've made their own PB&Js.

    I do too.
But I have to buy the powder from a gun shop. Don't you?

    Don't know what a PB&J is. Sorry.

Not imagination, just your ignorance. Many people who own guns don't want a record of them owning it, if they don't carry. So they'll report the break-in, or the attempted mugging, but not report they used a gun to stop it. LOADS of unregistered guns in FL you know. It was "a bat or golf club" or the guy got spooked or they don't report it at all. This is not uncommon. The fact you think I'm just making this up just for the ^$&#*@# of it, means you're used to your little bubble of ignorance and you sure as crap don't live in FL.

Didn't the Trump presidency clue you in to people claiming one thing in public but acting differently in private. The FACTS said Hillary would win in a landslide, but those facts were WRONG....VERY wrong. The is not that different.

And who said the cops are breaking the law? You're reading comprehension SUCKS big time.

But not the actual deaths. Without guns there wouldn't be any suicides by guns, but there would still be as many suicides.

Gun control is not crime control. You seem to care not that there is a victim, only that a gun was used. Without the gun there would still be a victim.

No, you don't have anything of the sort.

You're trying to say because allegedly fewer households own guns, and the murder rate went down, then fewer households with guns must mean less homicide.

The problem with that logical fallacy is that it's the same argument your fellow leftist tried by saying Australia banned guns, homicide went down, ipso facto gun bans reduce homicide.

Yet ironically when I did the same thing by showing more guns were sold in the US and crime went down, you didn't like that one.

    They're all the same argument.

I could throw up a chart of cell phone sales from the 90's till now, and it will show more and more cell phones being sold while at the same time homicide rates went down.

Does that mean cell phone ownership reduces the homicide rate? Of course not.

    Here's your problem:

The places where the most homicides occur happen in the places where gun ownership per household is lowest. Keep in mind that "gun ownership" means you legally own a firearm.

White people own more guns, yet commit the smallest number of homicides.

Rural people own more guns, yet commit the smallest number of homicides.

People with higher income own more guns, yet commit the smallest number of homicides.

Your "fewer households own guns therefore less murder" is, quite simply, wrong.

Oh and here's another fun fact for your Pew Research "household firearm ownership" survey: I would never admit owning firearms to anyone over the phone or via some kind of ballot, nor would a lot of other people.

While you remove guns from households what happens to the guns in possession of criminals? If you say they will turn them in you are fooling yourself. If you think the police will be removing them from the criminals, why aren't they doing it already? Banning them will only increase the black market for them.

No, they'd be stabbing, clubbing, choking, drowning etc. No gun doesn't mean no murder. When Australia banned guns, the violent crime rate went up.

This is called a post hoc fallacy - B follows A, thus A caused B.
It is a favorite of the anti-gun left.
