I think a choice of war is always the choice to kill the child.

 

I read To Kill The Child was a response to the US war against Iraq, so it is not Israel alone he, Roger Waters, is concerned about.

My real introduction to the Israeli Palestinian conflict was the 2006 war Israel waged against the civilians of Lebanon. And it was listening to what came to be essentially a 24/7 coverage of the conflict by US media like CAN that I clearly saw what war was for children.

Over 1000 killed in Lebanon, over 90 percent were civilians, over 40% were children.

CHOOSING war most definitely is the choice to kill the child.
