It is and has been known for a long time. I can see where a jewish person may take offense to it being pointed out. No offense in meant, and I am not a bigot... The MONEY does control this country. ANyone not knowing and or acknowledging it is OBTUSE... Naive...

 

I can recall stopping on the highway near the NC Virginia border to get a hamburger.

Fox was on the television and everyone in the place was rivited to it.

They were showing a helicopter camera view of a police chase of a suspect. I didn't know where it was, although it seemed to be in LA.

Anyway, nothing was going on except an army of cops chasing one guy for reasons nobody knew.

There was no real news. They didn't even tell you what was happening.

But the audience was glued to the screen like zombies.

That's the Fox viewer mentality in a nutshell.

No one confuses Sham Hammity for a journalist except his audience.

The only thing that I can think of that explains the far right's obsession with CNN is because Donald Trump is demoninzing it.

There is a reason why he demonizes CNN. He always tries to deamonize and denigrate the press. He craves the attention he gets when they put him on the screen. During the campaign he could push television executive around because he was the star of the show. But that doesn't work when you're President. You're still one of the stars of the show. But the show isn't about you anymore.

Trump doesn't understand that, and never will.

He attacks CNN because he feels he has to feud with a cable news network. It isn't going to be Fox, and nobody who watches NSNBC would give a damn what Trump said about Rachel Maddow.

So, it's CNN by default.

That's the only real reason.

There have always been very prominent influential Jews in the world, but I am not aware of any examples of Jewish elites dominating any nation. On the rare occasions when Jews have managed to rise ti the top they are selected by non-Jewish leaders of a dominant political faction. Powerful Jewish leaders have learned over thousands of years to sing for their masters - the leaders of the dominant non-Jewish ruling political class. Political correctness is survivalism 101 for Jews. Does it work for them? Imperfectly. And when it fails Jews tend to die - a lot.

I don't know what the "largest" is supposed to mean. Fox is not known for having much depth to their reporting staff. The have only three foreign correspondents for an entire planet, and they are seldom concerned with whether what they say is true or not as long as it appeals to their narrow audience.

Just because a large audience prefers tabloid trash to news does not confer gravitas or legitimacy to the people who give them their circuses.

 

And some people just start frivolous meaningless threads. Also very sad.
If you don't like Fox News, there is an "off" button on the television. There is also one on your computer. Try it sometime.

I'm confused by your tactics here. The left wing is bragging about the polls that state Trump is so unfavorable. Polls are the SKETCHIEST forms of information there are.

Yet here you are denouncing ratings done by people who's profession is to gather this information based on technology and homes that are tracked using those systems.

No, it is not, not by a long shot. CBS, NBC and ABC news all draw far, far more viewers. FOX qualifies the statement with "cable" to make themselves look better.

 

You either have a short memory or you haven't been keeping up very well. The right has hated CNN from the beginning. They started calling it the Clinton News Network way back in 1992 when Bill ran for the first time. Hating CNN has nothing to do with Donald Trump. And since all the major networks seem to have it in for Trump, he has good reason to hate the media.

 

What is sad is that the rest of the Mainstream Network Media has not sunk below Fox - which is hard to believe given the bar was low, low low.

We need to do something to restore fair and free media in this country.
