I don't believe any reasonable person wouldn't believe this isn't a reasonable request, since there is plenty of precedent for candidates doing it going back to Carter... Here's an interesting site - Check out the FDR taxes from 2013.... https://www.efile.com/historic-1040-income-tax-returns-of-us-presidents-and-candidates/
Actually a bunch of treasonous traitors lost a war because they were wrong about their supposed "state rights".
Made possession of small amounts of drugs a misdemeanor instead of a felony. People are still cited and arrested for drug possession.
It targets anyone wanting to run for president. Just like when I get a job I have to pass background, drug test and financial background checks..Ain't life a bitch?
I think states have much more power or rights than they exercise. I believe the state governments in the border states would have done a better job at the border, but like usual, these decisions have financial consequences, like anything a federal dollar can touch. A Governor of a state has the power to mobilize and ask other states to send in their National Guard. Judges aren't going to flock to Hell Hole, Texas, they should have spread the immigrants out to areas where judges exist. It doesn't make sense to hold people in custody, make yourself responsible for their wellbeing, interfere with their ability to take care of themselves, which they managed to do all the way thru Mexico. They could have just treated them like visitors.
Invalid argument from you. The IRS has seen his returns. For some reason they haven't called for his imprisonment, meaning everything must be legal. Nothing you guys have tried has worked. What you need to do is make it illegal to have 2 scoops of ice cream and then BAM.........you got him. He's not going to win any Electoral votes in California so who cares?
No reasonable person would extract that from my post. My position on this issue is far from a conspiracy theory and is the opposite of what you are projecting on me. Politicians should not have the power to do whatever they want as they have proven themselves unworthy of such power. From declaring a national emergency for a wall, to using the IRS as a political weapon, abuse of power should never be tolerated.
The Constitution is explicit on what is required to run for federal office. It doesn't say squat about getting a mortgage loan.
You want more petty criminals in our already crowded prisons? You want more petty drug cases clogging up the court docket? Not me. This whole drug war has been a miserable failure from the start and is costing the tax payers billions a month.
So.... One side of the political aisle wants a peak at a political rival's personal papers to dig for dirt, without a warrant, without probable cause, and without a law requiring them to be turned over......and it is so blatant that the excuse they are forced to use is that they are providing oversight into the IRS.....something that has not been done for any President in the past. The other side is attempting to prevent turning over their personal papers that the law does not require them to turn over to Congress for the purpose they are being requested for. I'll give you a guess as to which side of the political aisle appears to think that politicians can do what they want.
States run their own elections and have the right to require certain things in order to gain ballot access. The courts will decide, I suppose.
There no reasons to see school records either, but that didn't prevent righties from demanding to see Obama's. Get out that hypocrisy mirror.
Oh? When did I do that? And to apply your same logic, if Obama's transcripts were legit, why did he go through so much to keep them sealed?
Bank records are also being examined. tRump and Kushner have suspicious accounts. The bank activity records show both tRump and Kushner had suspected money laundering activity. Banks and credit card banking have programs to notify suspicious activity. The reports are reviewed and sometimes action is warranted. tRump probably figures he could beat those charges in court and have it held up longer than he will live. I think the main reason is he doesn't pay taxes and doesn't want that to be known.
If you didn't do so, good on you. Many righties on this forum sure did. Where did I say I wanted to see Trump's return?
Why? Do think they'll stop breaking into your car for anything they can steal for drug money? Should we give up on gun control because they are infinitely easier to smuggle into the country than drugs?
