I think it's even worse that Trump wants to use General Kelly's distinguished service to excuse his lie.

I just listened to the speech that Kelly alluded to, given by the congresswoman in Miami. They passed it in full on MSNBC The Kelly's attack couldn't have been more unwarranted. Not only did she not take credit in any way shape or form for the construction. the congresswoman even went out of her way to thank Republicans in Congress by name for the effort on getting it done.

It's sad that Trump is now bringing down with him Americans of great background. When will it stop?

I see. So you think that the President's lack of empathy is trivial.

I disagree. I think empathy is essential in a President. For example, it's what makes them think twice, ten times, a hundred times... before starting a war and sending kids to die.

I believe it's one of the many faults of this President we should focus on. Problem is, this President has so many faults we should focus on, that it's hard to address them all.

Yes. And Trump's incompetence and inability to see anything in the future beyond the next 5 minutes is a huge inadequacy. But e do what we can in a day that is only 24 hours long.

QUOTE]They think they are doing that too of course, by trying to smear anyone who doesn't agree, [/QUOTE]
Reducing the criticism to "oh... you say that because you don't agree with him" is not only an attempt at a strawman by oversimplification. It's a clear attempt to blind yourself from the facts. I have explained the facts. If you consider the whole thing trivial well.... not much I can say besides what I said above. But claiming that it's because "we disagree with him" is something very different. It's a clear attempt at avoiding confrontation with facts.

Very far. He is far from good. He's even far from mediocre. He's the most incompetent President in any of our lifetimes. And I think he'll probably make it to the worst President in history. But if you're only argument is "you say that because you disagree with him", you are not even considering facts that prove my statement. And that's pretty dogmatic.

I can prove to you that the problem is not as simple as a vague "Trump is not perfect". I can prove to you that he is incompetent, that he is a pathological liar, that he is dishonest, .... and many many things. I can prove to you as I have proven the "liar" part in the OP. But you would need to listen to the actual arguments. And discuss those. If you set aside the fallacies, strawman, oversimplification, etc... and stay on pure reason and logical arguments... I can prove it!

Then skip the "opinions" and focus on the facts that I mention. Are any of them inaccurate?. It shouldn't be difficult. Because there is only one fact: General Kelly's description demonstrates that Trump lied.

When did he say that? Didn't he say that he advised Trump not to call her at all?

YES- I think that the far right's opinion is trivial. I think the president has a lack of empathy- His defenders mix up defenses by selectively refining language into the implications they want to portray. The far right has no credibility and their defense deserves no discussion.

Of course the MSM is right. Sources remain anonymous for a reason, or they won't be sources anymore. Yet trump calls the news"fake"and says that the sources of the leaks don't exist. So if everything is fake and the sources don't exist, why is he so upset about the "fake" news and the non existent sources who are spewing these "fake" leaks? Curious, yes? Also curious is that the Trump base can't and won't give reasons for their comments about the MSM and "fake" news. They are not independent thinkers, but just easily conned followers.

Federica Wilson is the Florida Rep who once claimed her constituents were eating dog food and needed more food stamps. SUCH BS. Dog food cost more than human food YOU BIG DOPE!! Maybe her constituency is so dumb they rather pay more to eat dog food.

Federica Wilson voted on several bills in favor of more benefits for ILLEGAL ALIENS at the same time voting AGAINST bills advocating more benefits for MILITARY VETERANS. WHAT A POS, LYING wench. Her other cohorts: Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee, 2 other POS.

HEY FEDERICA, MAXINE, AND SHEILA: YOU AND YOUR BLACK SUPREMACIST CAUCUS IN THE DEMOCRAT LEFT MARXIST PARTY ARE NOT FOOLING ANYONE!!

Trump lied and said he did not say, the soldier knew what he had signed up for.
Kelly confirmed that Trump did say that.

Any rational thinking person would look at the evidence and then draw a conclusion. We are talking about Trump here! Blasé is an apt word to describe his behaviour

How come in the video of a call to the family of a soldier killed in Afghanistan the language used was completely different if it's supposedly standard. Trump lied and now Kelly has lied in trying to defend his master. Trump could not be bothered to rehearse his speech and tried to ad lib instead of following a standard format. He does not care

Interesting that you would claim that with no evidence other than the claims of a certified Trump hating whack job.

No rational thinking person would base anything on the claims of such a deranged person.

Have Wilson and the soldier's family got some special powers that enables them to read other peoples minds? They used the same words that were used by and confirmed by Kelly when asked by Trump on advice before the call was made

No they didn't. When Wilson decided to use the death of an American Hero to push her psychotic agenda, she erased any context to the President's statement.

Every soldier is told on day one of basic training they may die in the line of duty. Every soldier deployed into theater is told they may die in the line of duty. They go anyway. The soldier knew what he signed up for, but that doesn't change how painful their death is to loved ones. That is respect, and that is reported to have been what the President said.

Wilson is a lost cause and an embarrassment to everything she represents. Those who chose to believe anything she says need to step back for a moment of reflection.

What has this got to do with the Trump denial of using those words? ie he said that he did not say those words......

Oh, and 4th person now to use the excuse of "context". Is this the new guideline that "you" have been told to use. And "totally fabricated" has nothing to do with context

    LOL
There you go. Another Trump hater deflecting by suggesting some kind of coordinated push back. I guess credibility has no place among the haters.

I wonder what this fallen hero would think of Wilson, and sadly, his mother, using his sacrifice to push Wilson's psychotic agenda?

The President's claim that Wilson totally fabricated his statement refers to how she has reported his conversation. I guess to the haters, they believe the President called and simply said, "he knew what he signed up for" and then hung up. Do you believe that?

In the spirit of coordination you accused me of engaging in, perhaps you should return to the shed and work with your counterparts to come up with a more rational and believable response.

Banking your credibility on the claims of this pathetic and attention seeking POS Wilson is a fools errand.
