Similar measures go unenforced in other states, with the police and sheriffs stating outright that they will not enforce the law at all. There is no reason to believe the police of the state of Nevada will take a different approach.

Come back when you have examples of individuals being prosecuted for noncompliance. Come back when you can show police officers are making an effort to enforce the requirement of background checks being performed on private transactions, and then we will talk. Until such time you have little more than a suggestion for what should be done, that carries no actual weight.

 

I think the pendulum swings back and forth and Trump supporters should enjoy the Trump presidency while it lasts. More than likely after 4 to 8 years of Trump many will be tired of the Republicans and thus the pendulum will swing back to the left.

One, the President doesn't enact legislation. Two, Howard admitted that he couldn't have passed those laws if their had been a 2A in Australia. Find a recent red/blue map of the states. Start counting red states. Stop when you get to 13.
