Cuomo could be governor of NY until 2050. But he will never, never, never be the president of the U.S.

He's dead on the national stage.

Agreed. He may not last that long as Governor.

Then again he may last longer than Trump.

A fair point. Perhaps if both of resigned, we'd be better off with their second-in-commands.

Another liberal nutjob, not surprising. The same people who want illegal aliens taking american citizens jobs.

Democrats should dissolve as national party.

I could be wrong, but I think Trump leaves after one term. He'll think he shook up Washington and did what he could to turn it around. He'll be 74 and want to get back to his family and businesses.

Of course, he could go for a second term and then challenge the Constitution to get a third term. He's a loose cannon.

Agreed on all points. Most likely he'll leave after this term, if he doesn't resign before the end of it due to "medical reasons". The best thing about Trump's election, IMO, was that he beat Hillary, but I agree a great second reason is that he shook up Washington. No, he's not draining the swamp, but he's certainly scared the crap out of all the alligators.

He'll be a 74 year old billionaire who's already spent a quarter of his time on vacation. I think he'd want to make that 100% of his time.

Then again he could be forced to resign before his first term is up.

I would have thought so to just a few days ago, but now I'm not so sure.

Well if you like tragi-comedy or maybe Commedia dell'arte with too many fools and/or knaves.

Not necessarily, but since that's the show we're stuck with, we might as well enjoy it.

Trump made his case during his campaign to the American people why America had fallen from greatness and it got him elected.

Then we should go back to the immigration policies of that time to attract that type of immigrant. I think I can mow my own yard. OUR kids can't find jobs because the illegals are undercutting the work force by working off the books to keep wages low. Just look at any construction site or lawn service.

True that. But then I always figured it more as a game with rules written by the mad hatter, white rabbit and dormouse. It's still entertaining but it frequently makes no sense.

The rules are clear, but when we have power-hungry assclowns backed with teams of lawyers, the rules become twisted. Sad, but it's just the way things are. Wasn't it Churchill who said "Democracy is the worst form of government except for all the others"?

Great quote, and deadly accurate. The trouble is that for some time now All we've had are power hungry ass clowns no small number of which have compounded hunger for power with border line incompetence.

Agreed here. It's one reason why I've stopped voting for the "lesser of two evils" and am strictly voting Libertarian since it's the most viable third party. We should all vote as a civic duty but we shouldn't feel pressured to vote out of fear or to vote for a major party to avoid "throwing away" our vote.
