8 guns per gun owner in the U.S. with only one trigger finger. That would be the definition of a neighbor that I wouldn't want. When you have one of those in the neighbor hood it's time to not let your children go out and play and keep all pets in the house.

 

So the very same neighbor that you talk to everyday if you found had 8 guns is suddenly dangerous? I can think of each use for those 8 guns. Big bore pistol for bear country or hiking, average sized pistol for normal concealment, subcompact pistol as a backup, hunting rifle for obvious reasons, sporting rifle for self defense and TEOTWAWKI if I believe in that, shotgun for everything else, and the rest is what I might like.

 

Numbers as a whole are slightly different..... I don't know if you know this or not, but people murder people with other means than firearms. In Brazil for example, firearms are NOT the most used tool, it's knives, as in most other countries.
