Funny enough, tanks are illegal to drive on the roads here in the US, but completely legal to drive on the road in the UK. So... the place that fears firearms, doesn't care too much about tanks.

Yes, you can also buy grenade launchers if you get a DD permit, you can even find 40mm grenades. What's your argument about those though? When was the last time a gang banger used a tank, grenade launcher, 20mm anti aircraft gun, 50 BMG, or even a machine gun during a crime? None of those are valid arguments and are just hairs to be pulled for arguments sake.

You can also buy working jets such as F-14's, F-18's, Mig 28's and so on.

Malpractice deaths account for about 440,000 deaths a year in the US. Compare that to 8200 from firearms.... Now, we are talking about one person killing another person here, this isn't about inanimate objects anymore. I know only you can make comparisons, but maybe since it is a person killing a person you will see it as justified?

I never said YOU said anything about the FBI. The original poster is the one who mentioned the FBI with a link, and then put up two quotes that were supposedly from inside the FBI link. I said one of the quotes he posted, the first one, was inside the link, and the other one, the one that mentions the percentages you quoted above, was actually not in that link the original poster said was a part of the FBI's link. Get it?

So, now that you *might be on the same page... 88% is the total accounted for number in that text. You following? 11% is the number of those criminals that bought their firearms legally. You still with me? 37% is the percentage that got their firearms from someone they knew like a family member or friend. Did I lose you yet? Ok, stay with me. 40% of criminals said they got their firearms on the black market, illegally. Still with me? All of those numbers add up to 88%. That 88% is all that is accounted for in the text that was posted. Do you understand this, are we on the same page? Ok, now... you inferred that after that 40% the rest were bought legally which I said was already stated in the text, 11% bought their guns legally. Did you get all of that?

Irrelevant. A lack of firearm-related homicides would not mean a corresponding drop in homicides overall. There is no evidence to suggest that if firearms were not accessible, those who are intent on committing murder would simply refrain from such.

 

Is there? If a person can only use one firearm at a time, they can only use one method of transportation at a time. If a person has no need for more than one firearm, you do not have need for more than one method of transportation. If you have a bicycle, you do not need to have a motor vehicle.

What possible reason could you have for even wanting more than one method of transportation, if you cannot use it?
