    Trump hasn't saved anyone. GOVERNORS did that...and Trump was not only against it...he's pushing to open up in the teeth of this pandemic

    Tell us how you criticized Trump for not ordering the shutdown of the states, knowing full well he had no power to do so.
    Don't forget that I can cite a post and quote the text of you doing exactly that.

    Trump claimed had that power and then admitted he didn't. My criticism was based on that fact that he didn't recommend closing down and the POWER that recommendation would have had. Florida for instance shut down the day after he (belatedly) recommended it
    Post away. It'll show what I just said.

    "Ordered". You criticism was that he did not "order" the states to close.
    You criticized him for not "ordering" something you knew he did not have the power to do.

    Recommended, demanded, ordered...all interchangeable. We all know (well he didn't) that he can't use force of law...but his influence is clearly needed in that regard and sorely lacking
