There will surely be a lot of good and a little bad and you will focus on the bad, exclusively

And then you'll get beat over the head by the good

Your president decided that people do need tax cuts when he signed the bill into law this morning.

because your liberal democrats refused to vote for it.. so to avoid a filibuster they had to have an expiration date..

How great of an accomplishment was ObamaCare? No one likes to pay for their own healthcare. Passing ObamaCare to pander to the electorate is about the easiest thing for politicians to do.
Where were you the last 8 years when the National debt doubled?

Other than actually having to pay taxes, what tax increase or cut has ever been permanent, corporate or personal? I've asked this multiple times and nary an answer. Oh yeah, greenies can still get a tax break on their Prius or for the 1% their Tesla.

Why do you feel it's necessary to tax people on money that has already been taxed to death? Rich envy not a good look.

This bill totally favors the lower income and middle class over the rich:
    • ALL tax brackets were cut.
    • The standard deduction was doubled.
    • The child tax credit was doubled.
    • The minimum taxable income level was raised (that means more lower income people will no longer pay any Federal taxes).
Even CBS, to their chagrin, found that the three families they chose for their segment all get a tax cut...

Spending our money has become an addiction. Reducing the amount they confiscate from hard working people is a step in the right direction. Now they have to cut spending.

And where do you think those wages come from? I have a list of what I think you don't need and will send the IRS to forcefully take it from you.

It doesn't help the wealthy; it reduces the amount of harm imposed on them. Estate tax is thievery; they already paid taxes on that money.

Because...democrats. The party of no would not vote for any tax legislation so a different procedure was used, you know, like for Obamacare so the vote could be a simple majority. Thus the reason for the temporary status.

George W Bush wasn’t MY President, he was THE President

Donald Trump isn’t MY President, He IS the President of the United States

Signing ceremony was a bit low key I was surprised. This is however not a middle class tax cut is more of a corporate give away a huge bonanza ! cutting loop holes? get this more loopholes got added into this bill..Corporation tax before wasn't really 35% it was more like 12% with all the loopholes now with more loopholes and 14% cut guess who will be paying for that !! Go on have a guess ..did you get it? clue you can see him/her by starring at a mirror! by the time the big corporations complete their tax returns next year the government will end up owing them! :) middle class to pick up the tab But yet People still cheer ! take all our money Make America Great again well if you can read a chart have fun reading this!. oh this expires in 10 years unless you are a corporation. # Winning If you are rich

Oh, and it would have helped if we had had a REAL tax reform that got rid of all the loopholes, shelters, exclusions, deductions, and "carried interest" that the über-wealthy milk like a dairy cow... but would this Congressional gaggle of "Limousine Liberal" Democrats and "Fat Cat" Republicans do that? Ha!

The big-rich, who never actually paid the taxes corresponding to the "bracket" they're in are ecstatic. For the poor, who haven't paid anything in taxes in years (if ever), it's a non-event. And, for the rest of us in the middle, it's "Meet the new Tax Code, same as the old Tax Code".

I agree with this. Couple this legislation with spending cuts and it's a win win.

You mean like the ones AT&T, Fifth Third, and countless other companies can now do voluntarily with the tax cut?

See, rather than unfunded mandates, this allows wage increases.... Hold on to your shorts! TRICKLE DOWN

Actually, this bill will hurt the upper class earning 400 - 500k, with a big ass house, and lots of kids.

They will be the worst off.

Most middle class take a standard deduction, not itemized, and thus they will see a tax reduction.

No it doesn't. He lost by 3 million votes. The electoral college allowed him to become president anyway
