Because Russia and Assads forces are not fighting ISIS in Iraq. Obama and the Establishment was quite happy with his Extremist Islamist proxy army in Syria until that ISIS forces went rogue and expanded their caliphate into Iraq in 2014.

This created a problem in that the the US was supporting ISIS in Syria while fighting them in Iraq. Quite the dilemma.

What is the most disturbing about this (and the numerous other examples) is the response of the MSM. Is a Senior congressman ..standing up on national television and stating directly that we are arming terrorists and fighting along side Al Qaeda and ISIS not news ? We should see front page headlines in every major media outlet "US allied with 911 terrorists"
or at least "Rand Paul lies is face off and claims US military allied with Al Qaeda".

The MSM response ? Silence ... deafening Silence.

The topic we are discussing is the Obama administration arming and supporting Al Qaeda and ISIS. In 2018 the Obama administration is no longer arming and supporting Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria.
