It's sad how widespread the idea that it's just for one person to take another's property. Some would have you think that because an idea is popular it is just. Obviously this isn't the case. Right is right, and wrong is wrong, and everyone knows the difference.

    That's 90% capitalist tech innovation, 0% "medicare."

It's produced -nothing- but waste and cost increases. Advances in medicine happen DESPITE collectivism, and without it, we might be enjoying 100 year productive lifespans.

It could be, but you're talking about positive rights, which aren't really rights. You can call it whatever you want, but you'll only be preaching to the choir. The rest of us don't buy it.

No, Milan took advantage of the regulations so it could raise prices. What, absent those regulations, would prevent Milan from doing the same thing? Please tell me you're not asking for MORE government regulation!!!!!!

Milan took advantage of patent laws, lobbied to get favorable legislation passed, did what they could, under the law, to slow any competitor's entry. All perfectly legal and all what would be called "good business" were it not involving people's lives.

Has nothing to do with what Cuba spends on health care or on what the citizens of Cuba pay.

Many countries pay far less than the US for health care with similar or better outcomes. Cuba just gets the most bang for the buck.

The Constitution merely enumerates rights that people like you would gladly take away.

Natural rights are innate and inherent. For example, I have a natural right to self-defense. I don't need your permission to exercise natural rights.

Self-defense can be a tricky one. Can you kill someone for water if it increases your chance of survival?

Of course your healthcare is your own responsibility. And "healthcare" and "health insurance" are two different things.

Let us at least try and be realistic. How are the poor and unemployed and the unemployable ---not even to mention the millions working for minimum wage....going to be able to provide health care for themselves and or their family?

A impossibility....thus what you are really saying is that your are o.k. for millions of
Americans to go without health care.

Suppose Health care cost per day as little as a 30 pack of domestic beer?

Would the rich still have to pay for their health care?

The Declaration of Independence of the United States lists life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as natural rights.

Yet...one must understand that you may adhere to natural law but you can be sent to jail or eecuted by man made law......which is more important...just depends how idealistic you are.

    No, no, no!

Take your idea and do it at the state or municipal level. If you can't do it and end up bankrupting yourself, get back to us with the results.

If you don't want to, that's understandable. I don't either. Just stop virtue signalling with my money. If you want to do it with your money, then nobody is stopping you.

I thought the patent on drugs ran out in about ten years. This drug is 60 years old.
