Is Long Hair On Men Anti-American?

One of the easy signs of telling a hippie or a communist from a real American is their long hair. As such, is long hair anti-American and what should we do about it? It's certainly un-Godly and un-Christian...It represents communism.

oh, thank goodness. i've been a hippie, a rocker, a semi-homeless lunatic and an acid dropping, dope smoking bonafide member of an outcast counter-culture. i've also busted my ass, spent years working for a variety of major and minor corporations, operated my own businesses and earned and spent at least two small fortunes. in short, i've lived the american dream. i've loved this country because i can think of nowhere else that i could have existed on the fringes of society, as i have, and still reached the level of success and acceptance that i have. lately, as my beard turned grey and my long hair thinned and silvered, i have been called an arch conservative, a right winger, a backward fossil and a few other decidedly uncool appellations. the thing is, my outlook and philosophy haven't altered in the least. i'm still the same anti-establishment troublemaker i always was, though i have a harder time mustering the same level of energy i once did and fully emptying my bladder has become problematic. still, i was beginning to worry that i had actually become what these vapid acolytes of modern liberal ignorance were claiming i was and that perhaps i did belong in some latter day version of the john birch society.

now, thanks to the op, my fears have been allayed. thank you for assuring me that i am still as unamerican as it was claimed i was in my younger years.
