Is Republican Immigration Policy A Form Of Ethnic Cleansing?

It is arguably more about preserving a place for our children in our nation that we helped defend grow and build with our sweat and blood and not be required to hand over those jobs, benefits, culture, and limited resources that we helped create to strangers and outsiders who did nothing to earn it instead of giving to future Americans that are our children. This includes black and brown American children. This does not include the children of other nations.

 

Not many no and few do are in my experience working for other immigrants.

Republicans advocate a merit-based and color blind immigration system. Under those rules, Asian immigration would increase. European immigration would see little (if any) change. It may even go down.

A question for liberals: if the United States had to accept a hundred million immigrants, would it make any difference to you if they were all from Africa, or all from Europe? Swedes or Somalis, which would you like?

This is a variant of another question I asked earlier: if you had to move, and had the choice of a house on the edge of a large Black area, or one in a large white or Chinese area, with a substantial material incentive to choose the former, which would you take?

It's not a question to which I expect honest answers (or any at all) from the bien pensants. Nor do they have to answer, since everyone knows they would make the same choice, do make the same choices, as everyone else.

I'm no liberal, but I will bite out of that apple. I say that if we spent what we spend in a year on war accommodating 100 million immigrants, then it would not matter where they were from.

I know black neighborhoods that I would prefer ANY DAY to a white or Chinese neighborhood.

He exaggerated. That's what he does. 60% of Islam does not hate us. The 40% that support Jihad do hate us.

He should not have used those exact words. Mistakes like that are why I tolerate Trump but do not like him. Most of what he does in governing is good. And he makes baffling misstatements.

The problem is that his words are followed by concrete policy that restricts immigration from countries with majority Muslim populations. I think guy actually believes what he said. Therefore his policy reflects a desire to engineer a population based on ethnicity.
