Then Pelosi and Ried took back the Congress, lame ducked Bush and two years later the deficit was a whopping $1,400B signed into law by President Obama who had included his additional spending it, or course he was a voting member of Senate before that. They kept the deficit over $1,000B for the next three years until the Republicans forced sequester and austerity and THAT is what cut the deficit in half. Trump has instructed his cabinet officials to cut their budgets by 5%, do you support that? When those budgets come up will the Democrats support that?
