I oppose a massive waste of time and money no matter when and where and the wall is exactly that. You would be better with some tech equipment such as cameras and drones. Dear Gods! For the price you could afford a satellite firing lasers!




Thing is and serious now - I did the research and there is no way you can build a wall without ceding the Rio Grande.

You have two alternatives

A) make it unattractive to come and that means clamping down on people hiring illegals, which includes the Trump organisation or
B) make it more attractive to stay at home

 

Walls work, ask China and see the Mansions of the likes of Pelosi, etc. They also enjoy armed protection. yep, guns and walls do work. I agree, the employers need punishment. And it must be nice to be surrounded by a natural wall, called the Ocean.

 

Walls can’t be built in the middle of a major river or over mountains or.........

Prosecute the employers

Make them pay back pay if found hiring illegals cheaper (protects jobs for Americans) close the loopholes that have them overstaying tourist visas, and we have the technology to track that. Make it unattractive for employers to employ cheap labour

Meanwhile you look at aiding the countries they came from so it is more attractive to stay home
