Asking if evolution causes women to judge men on their money doesn't tell me what you think. Do you not agree that a characteristic of women when on a manhunt is that they look for successful (i.e., wealthy) men?

And, your second question pretty much restated the first, but I was hoping an opinion from you on the matter would provide missing context.

 

I'm not sure that it is evolution. It might be biological and possibly women might consider money to be important when it comes to supporting a family, because otherwise a woman might end up being a breeder and the breadwinner. He would also need to be relatively young so that their progeny will be healthy without chromosome problems.
I don't see how evolution has caused men to believe a fake blonde is good childbearing material.
As to my opinion of women wanting rich husbands. Hmm . Well I married a working man who is not greatly handsome, but has a brain I admire and a sense of humour which is a delight to live with. I might be an anomaly of course, but I don't think I am.

I'm pretty certain it is a result of evolution. A women, being the child bearer, is tied down once she has children. So her mate has to be a good provider. That translates well into modern terms: a successful/wealthy man will be a good provider. Of course now, women in First World countries work too, so the roles have blended. Be interesting to jump ahead a few thousand years to see how it shakes out.

What seems like a mistake on evolution's part is how many women want bad boys for mates rather than decent guys. I'm sure all through history women have gotten the bad boy, certain that they could tame them, and been left alone when said bad boys moved on. Seems like a contra-survival trait.

Blonde hair catches the eye, which is good tactics. Large breasts and (to a lesser extent) wide hips suggest that the woman will be able to have healthy babies (historically a dicy thing given how many women and infants died during childbirth). All the other cues (long legs, a thigh gap, large eyes, soft clear skin, thick hair, etc.) are secondary cues that vary in importance from one society to another.

I don't attend many womens events, at the most 2 a year. Let me say the women who frequent "womens events" like the one Ivanka attended, are accomplished, smart and very often well groomed and attractive, because they can afford to be.

If you're going to speak at these events, you need to be switched on, and if you try to sell them a misogynist you will get booed... anywhere in the world.

So spare me the excuses. It's more likely that those who booed did so because they were jealous of Ivanka's thigh gap than because their principles were triggered.

 

Bill Clinton is too smart to show up at a women's event and tell them he's actually a hero to women, the way Ivanka tried to sell Trump.

You need to look at who your audience is, and never assume they are uninformed, Ivanka deserved being booed, she disrespected her audience when she tried to sell them Donald. She should have avoided speaking about him as much as possible, let's hope she learned her lesson.
