    Maybe she didn't get booed and hissed at after all?
    There's video, does it sound like booing or murmurs? If it could be either, I can understand interpreting the noise as murmuring wouldn't sell as much advertising as claiming she was booed and hissed at.

    It seems these 'women's events' only want speakers who agree with their collective point of view, and that's depressingly unsurprising. They're just another version of the Stepford Wives with the same robotic thoughts not daring to entertain other points of view. I'm grateful there are still intelligent women out there who don't follow this herd instinct.

    From what I've read it seems Ivanka handled the issues very well, she effectively dispatched both the question of her role and her father's alleged misogyny.

    I'm sure both these issues merit much deeper discussion and we don't know whether Ivanka could successfully overcome serious debate on them, the forum wasn't for this, there were other participants and issues. This wasn't something she prepared for, she obviously is aware of the controversy on both issues and had a suitable response.
