No you don't. You just think your gross misrepresentation of what your 18th century constitution actually means gives you free gratis to be how you are today. I'm sure your Vegas shooter felt exactly the same way
Oh, so you want to discuss Constitutional interpretations? That's actually on topic for once. Why do you feel that the Constitution is misinterpreted?
Because more of your citizenry have been killed over the last 50 years by domestic firearms than in all the wars you have fought since 1776 due to that misinterpretation .... sorry if its confusing
Justifiable homicides in self defense are but a fraction of the safe, lawful uses of firearms that the 80 million people with 350 million guns conduct every year.
We're not talking numbers; we're talking civics. And no, with degrees in Mathematics and Accounting, numeracy is not a challenge.
Your police are some 200 times more likely to die in the line of duty than ours, most of whom are shot. Explain that ? Also .... https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...re-difference-killings-officers-a7507051.html Why does your society uniquely accept this as being somehow a 'normal' way to be . ?
No they arent its shootings that are the bulk http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/07/28/officers-killed-in-line-duty-in-2018.html
Of this year, which is only 8 months in. 2017 saw 129 officer killed with only 40 due to gunfire. You can't just look at one year, you have to look at an overall trend.
And that trend is clearly on the up Interestingly Puts the UK's allegedly 'more violent' society into a proper context doesn't it ?
First place, are you talking about officers being shot or officers shooting people? Second, you are an island nation with a small and largely homogeneous population with a pretty uniform set of laws. We are the biggest western nation in the world with more and bigger cities. You can cross a state border and be under a completely different set of laws and how they are enforced. The problem foreigners have when comparing us to their country is simply that we aren't homogeneous. So while it may be true that we have more police shootings than you do, they are largely concentrated into large cities and certain states. BTW, I wasn't the one who said that the UK is more violent than us.
Unless the killing is authorized and carried out by the government rather than a private individual, correct?
Well, clearly you are utterly irrational and incapable of making sense. Off to the ignore list you go.
