    My dream 2016 election would have been Biden vs Kasich. I rooted for Kasich until he withdrew. Both are moderate, highly experienced, professional, adept at crossing the aisle, among many other positive qualities in which they excel over their opponents. They are both scandal free, which isn't necessarily an advantage. Also, both men have the same fault; neither are charismatic.

    That said, I think people underestimate Biden. We were due for a boring president, anyway. Obama and Trump was the first time in my life that two charismatic presidents were elected back-to-back. By opposing sides. Lol.

    I understand what you said, which lead directly to the question I posed to you. Trump wasn't found not guilty because he didn't do the things he was accused of, he was found not guilty because the Republicans had enough votes to acquit him. The same would be true today if Biden were impeached.

    So I ask again. Is this your first day paying attention to politics? Because only somebody who does not understand that most basic paradigm in politics would say the thing you said.

    How has Biden added to our woes in the short time he's been in office?

    The stimulous bill was sucessful in helping millions of us keep it together, and it gave a big boost to the overall economy.

    We have enough vaccine for everyone, and those of us who got vaccinated can breathe much easier, and don't need to mask up all the time anymore.

    He's trying to get an infrastructure bill done so that millions of American workers will have good-paying jobs fixing roads, dams, and bridges (like the one that takes I-40 across the Mississippi River, which is currently closed), plus new manufacturing jobs in numerous industries, from building solar panels and wind turbines to building more electric vehicles (look at the successful rollout of the new electric Ford F-150 for example).

    I could go on, and Biden deserves a lot of credit, not just for the above but for hiring so many really smart and accomllished people to work in jis administration, unlike Trump who tended to hire unqualified and incompetent toadies and sycophants.

    What I wanted for more than five years, ever since Trump came down his escalator and announced his candidacy, was a slow news day. We're finally having those.

    I think Biden is generally charismatic, when he's being himself, and not being a politician... It leaks out from time to time. The stuff in the electric truck this week was pretty fun...

    But I'm pretty sure Biden would have won in 2016 as the GOP is finding it's really hard to pin anything serious on him...
