How are they tracking this? The Mexican national government does not have the assets to honestly and accurately count murders across all Mexican states.

Here is a truer measure of the civilization of the state of Mexico since we are talking about murder.

How many murders are solved in Mexico?, criminally prosecuted, maybe convicted.

In the glorious old USA it is been hovering around 65% throughout the 21st century.

In Mexico it is less then 5%, some years as low as 2% of known murders in which anybody gets arrested and prosecuted.

So 19 out of every 20 murders known to the authorities go unsolved minimum.

In the glorious old USA in the throughout the 1960's and '70's 90% of all murders committed had an arrest and prosecution for that crime.

I am left to wonder how persons in the USA today can believe they are a better society now than 50-60 years ago when 25% more murders today go unsolved.

Looks like we are heading to the Mexican way, "Gimmie back my Bullets"

I was just on the Rhapsody and got the same warning.. First time i went years ago they all were proud that the Government kept the cartels and most of the crime out of Cozumel and other tourist areas as Tourism is very important for the Mexican economy..
