No, we would not. Xns live by what JC told them.
JC told them that he came to uphold the OT.
The OT demands that any walking upright and obedient to God Jew must stone h-ls.
JC commands exactly the same - "one without a sin go ahead and cast your stone."
That's why neither Jew nor Xn would ever think about casting a stone.
It is not because we modernized our beliefs.
We live by the same Bible.
Atheists and agnostics reject the Bible because they cannot read and understand simple texts.
Atheists and agnostics would be better served by dropping comments on texts they cannot comprehend.
They look a kind of stupid, even when they come with good intentions.

Well, at least you've come to accept that war and acts of terrorism are called for in the other 11 months under Islamic doctrine. And

This is a list of battles fought during Ramadan by Muslim people.
624 - Battle of Badr. Versus the Makkan idolaters. "The great Battle of Badr", was the first battle between Muslims and non-Muslims.
627 - The Battle of the Trench. Muslims trained for this battle during Ramadan, though it occurred in the following month of Shawal.
630 - Battle of Tabouk (also called the Battle of Tabuk). The soldiers of Islam, under the leadership of Muhammad, established a training and fighting camp in Tabouk during the month of fasting, the Byzantine army shown no aggression so the Muslims returned peacefully without fighting.
    653 - Conquest of Rhodes.
710 - Muslims led by Tariq ibn Ziyad, invaded Spanish southern frontier cities on the Andalusian coast defeating King Roderick. They stayed for eight hundred years, disseminating Islam.
1099 - Battle of Ascalon. Took place on 22 Ramadan (August 12), the newfound crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem defeated Fatimid Caliphate Egypt.
1187 - Battle of Hattin. Took place at dawn—after the Night of Power (Lailat ul-Qadr) (or "Night of Destiny"). Sultan Saladin (Salah Al-Din Al-Ayubi) wiped out the Frankish army and went on to reclaim Jerusalem for Islam. The battle took place on July 4.
1260 - Battle of Ain Jalut. Qutuz defeated the Mongols in Palestine.
1962 to 1970 - North Yemen Civil War. Fighting continued through nine Ramadans.
1973 - Ramadan War (Elsewhere known as the Yom Kippur War). Egypt and Syria launched an attack on Sinai Peninsula which had been captured and occupied by Israel since the 1967 Six-Day War.
1975 to 1990 - Lebanon's civil war. Fighting took place over the course of seventeen Ramadans.
1981 - Iran rejected Iraqi offers for a Ramadan cease-fire.
1982 - Iran launched an attack on Iraq that they explicitly called "Operation Ramadan."
1986 - Christian forces called for a Ramadan cease-fire, which lasted two weeks.
1987 - Iran again rejected Iraqi offers for a Ramadan cease-fire.
1987 to 1993 - The first Palestinian Intifada was waged over six Ramadans.
1990s - There were at least 20 examples of Ramadan violence by Muslims during the Algerian civil war.
2000 - Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee stated that India would initiate a unilateral cease-fire in observance of the holy month of Ramadan as a step towards peace in Kashmir. Nonetheless, widespread fighting continued between Indian forces and the guerrillas in Jammu-Kashmir.
2003 to 2007 - Iraq War. Fighting took place over the course of four Ramadans. [clarification needed]
2014 - 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict. Fighting began in Ramadan between Islamic militants, Hamas and the Israel Defense Forces. (ongoing conflict)

    Ok.

When are people going to accept that Radical Wahhabism and Islam is an nation without borders at war with the United States and West? That they brainwash tens of millions of children from birth with hatred and glorification of violence and terrorism so that it becomes the very internal being of these people?

That it is not really religion as "religion" is only residual. The greatest mass murders in world history have been on secular motivations, not religion. Actually, historically religion has saved races of people literally from extinction. Secular governments have caused 100% genocides against races and peoples. It is about brainwashing people with murderous ideology - not bigotry - but murderous hatred.

This is not about "Christians," "Jews" or anyone else but specifically a combination of Wahhabism and radical Islam. It is not on a broader philosophical scale.

As for blaming all Muslims? No, but also now yes. As thousands upon thousands upon thousands - tens of thousands - of innocent people worldwide are being killed and the murderers hide without uniforms among Muslim civilians. Those Muslim civilian communities do little to nothing to detect and expose them, let alone fight them other than a hollow statement now and then.

Maybe its time to put real PRESSURE on the Muslim community to essentially stop hiding and shielding them? I think it is. To make it so critical to Muslims to have zero tolerance PRO-ACTIVELY of radicalism within their own that they act out of their own preservation.

Accordingly, I do NOT think the right approach is to urge people that Muslims are mostly good people and not to hold it against the religion of Islam and those who have it. A HUGE percentage of Muslims polled do say they believe acts of terrorism against civilians is acceptable. THAT is a reality that MUST be addressed. As long as the radicals can freely hide in the ocean of Muslims with Muslims at best indifferent to this, the problem will worsen.

I say put pressure, big pressure, on the MUSLIM COMMUNITY TO CLEAN UP ITS ACT AND STATE POLICING ITS OWN. Since they won't, then we have to police them all and in real terms start seeing all young Muslim adults as potential terrorists or terrorist shielders.

The time is short before these Muslim lone wolves and small teams become more sophisticated than just using a rifle. It is known numerous larger scale bombing attacks and even biological attacks have been planned - but fortunately so far detected.

Is it going to take another 9-11? A contagious disease released in an NYC subway or airport and then spread across the country killing millions or tens of millions? Radioactive dirty bomb that kills hundreds initially and then tens of thousands over time by cancers and thousands more born severely birth defected? Area of major city uninhabitable for a thousand years? Poison or bacteria dumped in a city's water supply or via a food processing facility shipped out nationwide? A tactical nuke?

At what point do the politicians and public ACCEPT THE REALITY - as much as we don't want or like it?

There are not 50 casualties yesterday, but over 100. So far, the response has been IDENTICAL to the response to the last one, and the one before, and the one before, and the one before, and the one before, and the one before... same worthless words, same inaction, same diversionary speeches and same pointless debates about guns and tolerance.

We know a lot of LGTBs in this region and Orlando is within our sphere. We don't know yet if anyone we know is a casualty. All I hear politicians saying is that we should do nothing and they are going to do nothing but investigate - when it is known what they will find. A radical Muslim man raised in by ME Muslim parents who grew up indoctrinated from birth by Wahhabism and radical Islam as early as he could understand words. Everyone of those men (and some women too) are ticking time bombs programmed from birth to murder.

And our leaders do nothing. And we are told to pretend this horrific danger doesn't exist, when as killing ability knowledge is gained the danger is rapidly escalating. When they get off of guns and go to more efficient killing methods the death tolls will rise rapidly. Just one of them understanding the movement of chemicals by trucks could take out an entire high school footballs stadium of people.

We know someone in the chemical industry who stated people would be truly shocked to learn how many attempts are made in this country by radical lone wolf or lone wolves Muslims attempt to buy drums of chemicals to make mass-kill bombs. So far, they are detected and stopped. So far. But the safety net has 10,000 holes in it that can't be plugged.

ISIS just took credit for the massacre. Despite what the parents said, it looks like Islam is involved.

No he didn't. He said he came to fulfill

"Don't think that I came to destroy the law, or the prophets. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill" (Matthew 5:17).

    Matthew 5:
38"You have heard that it was said, 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.' 39"But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.…

    Ephesians 2
15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations.

    Hebrews 8
13 By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

    Romans 10
4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.(*)

    Romans 7
6But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

    2 Corinthians 3
13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. 14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

Galatians 3 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."

23Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

Would be difficult to have stated it more plainly.

    Name calling is so childish.

    Ever hear of this guy?
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Swanson_(pastor)

At the conference, Swanson addressed the Biblical mandate of the death penalty for homosexuality, "There are instances in which both the Old and New Testament speak to the matter with unbelievable clarity. You know what that sin is – it’s the sin of homosexuality. In fact in Romans 1 Paul affirms that this particular sin is worthy of death. The Old and New Testament, I believe both speak with authority and we outta [sic] receive it."[12][13] In the same speech, he also posed the question whether these biblical injunctions should be enacted by the magistrate in America, to which he answered “No,”,[14] because gays (and America itself) "need time to repent." [15]

Now I'm done debating with one so childish. If you want to be adult, then show it.

Well, the shooter gave the credit to ISIS. ISIS hasn't yet taken credit, but they will probably soon praise it.

I agree, this sounds like a bi-sexual Muslim that was raised with his religion telling him gay was evil... I have no doubt his religious upbringing played a role

I guess when we get of Saudi oil. More hypocritical views of RWers. We are friends of SA, while they do what you think is terrible.

BTW - I didn't read all that long rant, so I may have missed a point you made.

Sorry for the semantics, you are correct, fulfillt. Will not go into explaining non-contradiction of other passages you quoted sometimes out of the context.
Does not change anything in my post explaining why neither Jew nor Xn following their Book would ever think about casting a stone, as not relevant to the scoop of the discussion.
Does not change that you better drop it.

    What lies?

For you to even infer this has ANYTHING to do with the Bible, Christians or Jews is an outright lie and per se attempt to divert from blaming Islam - specifically and ONLY Islam.

I agree, it's not the religions themselves that are necessarily evil, but the crazies that believe in them

normal people believing in a religion do not cause problems, the crazies do.....

you have the crazies that spread hate, like Christians and Muslims that say stoning gays is ok

then you have the next level of crazy where they go on mass shootings, ect....

    Dude really?

You're pretty conflicted right now right?

It's ok..... I would be conflicted myself if one of my "pet" groups murdered another one of my "pet" groups.....

This is what I call "eating your own head"...

Can't wait to see who the MSM blames for this. You can't blame Islam and you can't blame gays (they're the victims here)....

This crap about generically blaming all religion is just how off the deep end and DANGEROUS many "progressives" and many Democrats are.

What a bunch of crap. Stalin, Hitler and Mao were not motivated by religion. Secular governments have been the greatest mass murderers of all.

Nor bring up Native Americans as your counter point. They were treated and considered literally as animals by the western secular governments. This only ended when the Catholic Pope declared they are humans with souls, therefore could not be exterminated or treated as animals under Catholic doctrine. Until then, entire indigenous populations of the Americas were 100% exterminated and are since extinct.

ONLY secular governments have undertaken outright exterminations of human populations. Essentially all human and civil rights historically originated out of "religion," not from atheists.

The DESPERATE and BIZARRE attempts to divert from blaming this specifically on the brainwashing of children from birth into radical, murderous Islamic doctrine by some progressives and Democrats is reason to vote EVERY DEMOCRAT POLITICIAN at every level out of office and fire all such bureaucrats out of their agencies.

Even mentioning Christians and Jews - or the Bible - negatively in this context is OUTRAGEOUS and pure bigoted hatred similar to that of that Muslim shooter who likely hates Christians and Jews as much, or almost as much as some of the Democrats and so-called "progressives" on this forum.

    WRONG...

As a Catholic only God/Jesus can judge, but with Muslims - they as human's believe it's their duty to judge - that is why 50 (*)(*)(*)(*)ing people are dead.
