Mir Seddique, Mateen's father told NBC News, "this has nothing to do with religion." Seddique said his son got angry when he saw two men kissing in Miami a couple of months ago and thinks that may be related to the shooting.

"We are saying we are apologizing for the whole incident. We weren't aware of any action he is taking. We are in shock like the whole country," Seddique said.

My take - There is a chance, all be it a small one, that Omar was a closeted gay and did this act for that reason. It is more likely he was your typical American who then got caught up in radical Islam and decided that since Islam forbids homosexuality and orders death to homosexuals, that the right action was to do this.

When we free ourselves from the insanity of progressive political correctness, and when we put our country, culture, and safety before that of appeasing the leftists, only then will shine as the great nation we are.

Right now, America is dying from within. It's time to close the border, end all immigration, and clean house internally ! It's time to either get in line and return to the Traditional America that put man on the moon, or get dragged there kicking and screaming.
