Somewhere in the "afterlife", Ross Perot must be laughing his ass off! No, I'm not scorning him... he actually made a LOT of sense. I voted for Ross Perot for president TWICE, because I didn't want either Republican "Daddy" Bush, or Democrat Bill Clinton. So, I threw my vote away each time -- but that sad, disillusioning experience taught me something....

[IMG]. When you vote 3rd-party, you always get a Democrat elected! :(

Meaning? Lot of people vote 3rd party and the winner could be from either party. It happened in 2016 and Republican won. Pat Buchanan ran in 2000 and Republican won. Nader was running in 2004 and Republicans won.

Yeah, that whole line of thinking never made sense. "By not voting for R, you are voting for D" "By not voting for D, you are voting for R" Basically, by voting for neither, you are somehow voting for both.

Well, I should have been more specific... I was thinking about the most visible and momentous effort by an "outsider" in my lifetime, and that of course was Ross Perot -- and, indeed, the share of the vote for Ross Perot in both 1992 and 1996 was a key factor in Democrat Bill Clinton being elected, and later, re-elected.

But it is true that Democrats tend to be better organized, and they vote in 'blocs' more often than Republicans, "RINO's", and miscellaneous Conservatives do.

IMO Dem will pull for Dems and Repubs wil pull for Repubs, but independents can pull for either OR 3rd party.

Keep in mind it says 100 Rino party members albeit they most could only be local governors etc. Thus, this is not 100 congressmen.
