The majority of the U.S. precincts supported Trump therefore, most of America agrees with a Trump Presidency. At least for now...Time will tell.

Yes you are right. I have argued already that Trump won the White vote. Whites of varying political affiliations, all voted for Trump because they voted for their race. This election was all about race. White people, even supposedly liberal and progressive Whites, voted for Trump because they really don't want a racially diverse America and they don't like "Brown people" (Mexicans, Latinos, Arabs, Indians). Fortunately for us racial minorities, the demographic tidal wave cannot be withstood. The day Whites are no longer more than 50% of the population is the day racism ends. That day is coming soon.

Ok, so Clinton was a scumbag. Trump is a scumbag. Trump and Clinton were friends, and Trump even praised him as president and donated money to the Clinton's, AND invited them to his wedding, AND praised his wife as recently as...2008.

I guess birds of a feather flock together, eh? Oh, and you know what? Clinton is out of office. He may have been a good president (even Trump agrees), but that he was a slime ball I won't dispute. Trump is also a slime ball...and currently is the president.

Trump actually received 57% of the white vote...which was actually lower than Romney's % in 2012.

So despite Trump engaging in what was essentially the most blatant race baiting political campaign ever...throwing everyone else under the bus to pander to white conservative voters...the the fact that all he could muster up was 57% of the white vote is amusing.

In fact, white voters more than ever are starting to become registered independents, and seem to be supporting third party candidates more as well. This doesn't only apply to white voters, btw, because it seems voters of ALL races are getting tired of both political parties. There was a surge in support for third party candidates in 2016 compared to 2012. Is this a new trend? Or was it because Trump and Clinton were two horrendous candidates? I guess time will tell.

Meanwhile you defended Clinton getting head by a 20 year old intern and using her (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) as a cigar humidifier as a private matter.

So where are these advantages going to go? Who is getting rid of the EC? Is Russia going out of business?

    :wall:

First, they are not terrorists. Well, they are, but much less than you. More precisely, they are Israel's enemies: Iran, along with Hizbollah, Russia and Syria, are the main forces that fights ISIL.

Secundo, it wasn't your money. It wasn't your decision to take. It wasn't about you, not even a little bit. You simply were a depository. Get over it - it's pathetic.

    Damn.

The Illegitimate One can't come to terms with losing the popular vote by millions. And so he lies to push a national narrative on illegal voting.

It's good that we can agree on something -- both Clinton and Trump were scumbags when it came to women. But I just find it the height of hypocrisy that vast left who buried their heads and were silent during Clinton's womanizing have suddenly found morality when it comes to Trump.

BTW, I voted for Clinton his second term, knowing full well he couldn't keep his zipper up. Why? Because he showed an ability to get things done. There is no connection between having a taste for women and being an effective POTUS. That's lost on too many people.

    Asinine post on our part.

There are Latino families living in both Texas and California who have roots dating back to before either was a State. If their
votes do not count, then none should.

And if you are going to discard the votes that voted for Hillary because they did not like Trump - then your own logic dictates
we toss out the voters who voted for Trump just because they didn't like Hillary.

This OP is a fail on multiple counts.

I think that's basically what it comes down to. The talking point at the moment is that Trump has poor approval ratings compared with past presidents. As is typical of taking points, this is technically true, but misses the context:

Would Clinton be doing much better if she was in his position? Mired in scandal, entering a Congress in which both houses are in opposition, etc?

The candidates at this election were (*)(*)(*)(*). Pure and simple. They usually are anyway, but in a 'playing it safe, establishment hack' sort of way which leaves people saying "Meh ok".

A bunch of racist whining...... Latinos, if they are citizens, either native born or naturalized, are Americans, and their vote does count.

Trump won the electoral college, which is the only vote that counts. The popular vote is irrelevant, and should be ignored. It's too bad our thin-skinned President who has enough to occupy him (like draining the swamp) is wasting time on bull(*)(*)(*)(*) like the popular vote.

    - - - Updated - - -

Republicans control the majority of state legislatures and the majority of governorships. This isn't an illusion--its a fact.

    - - - Updated - - -

Saying that Latinos aren't Americans is racist. I'm a conservative Republican, and I see that.

    Alpha,

What he means by no EC to hide behind is that 2018 is not a presidential election. It's a foolish thing to say, since mid-term elections are not a single national election, but many separate elections, like the EC.

Well, I can buy that you didn't mean to say that, but you clearly implied Latinos are not Americans. You should have stuck to the big city stats, and ignored the Latino stuff. It's just stupid politics.
